Now I remember why I don't play mutlplayer lol too repetitive. The novelty wears off after the first two matches and gets boring. I noticed MP is in 60fps but the graphic quality is lower...

Played demo a while ago and i just couldn't get into it but played again other day and enjoyed more. Don't actually no much about uncharted like if its a continuous story from first game upto new one? for me playing demo is like starting a movie half way through. Better to start at the beginning. I've bought it anyway.
It's not a continuous story, they are standalone really, going to different locations with a new mystery/myth to uncover. There are lots of call backs to previous stories, the reason to go in order is the character development throughout, relationships that are formed and expanded, that's really where the charm of Uncharted is. Plus the bombastic set pieces of course. Uncharted 4 has some huge nostalgia trips in it that you maybe wouldn't appreciate without playing the others first.

I really hope you have a good time with them, the first game is showing it's age but I do have a soft spot for it. It's still a fun game.

Chapter 13 omg! Had to stealth all the way through, if I entered combat I just died, enemies come from all sides Probably just me being rubbish, but a very tricky level on Hard.

Is anyone playing the multi-player? I didn't think I was that bad at combat but always find myself killed during most 1-2-1's and am often at the bottom of the result scores. Frustrating but guess it's because I'm just a casual gamer and need more practice....
I couldn't aim for anything when I first started the mp. Had to turn the sensitivity right down. It's better now I think the 60fps throws you off when you've been playing at 30. I can't play anything at 60fps anyway, especially with motion blur. Ugh.

Started first one after work today. Graphics are pretty good for such an old game and voice acting is spot on for me. Much better than when i played demo.

Finally got round to starting this tonight! Played the first 5 chapters and I'm really enjoying it. Seems to be a bit of a slower start compared to previous instalments, but still keeping me very much entertained.

I've also decided to try and take my time a bit more with this one as well, so I've upped the difficulty to Hard (would usually just stick to Normal) and I am noticing that it doesn't take much to get on the verge of dying, can see it getting pretty difficult in the later levels!

Just finished this and thoroughly enjoyed it! It's such a shame that the series has come to an end but the ending to this game was fitting and I'm glad about that. I can definitely see potential in a future game with
Spoiler
as the protagonist but whether another company will ever take up the reins to do that I don't know. Either way I think this series will go down as my favourite ever and it's well deserved.

Here are my final stats:-

Total time spent playing: 19:55:14
Treasures collected: 57/109
Journal entries: 16/25
Journal notes: 16/23
Optional conversations: 24/36
Enemies defeated: 601
Enemies defeated in a row without dying: 47
Checkpoints failed or restarted: 197 (most of them just me messing around as I like experimenting with deaths lol)
Hit ratio: 55%
Shots fired: 4129
Headshots: 53
Headshots in a row: 3

I'm doing my second playthrough on hard now.
Question: If I do a third playthrough can I carry over my treasures and stats to that as well and still get trophies?

Unless your going for the platinum I wouldn't bother, I'm playing on hard and just don't fancy putting myself through all the frustration. I still have so far to go yet to finish it once, I can't imagine myself doing it all again, doesnt seem to have the replay appeal as previous games. Will play individual levels though to pick up treasures I've missed.

I've completed it on Crushing and didn't find it too much trouble to be honest! Only the second half of chapter 11 had me thinking that I might not manage it for a bit.

Yes. It allows you to use all the gameplay modifiers to get trophies too.

Cool because I'm picking up more treasures than last time but missing some still. Does this also work if, for instance, I complete the game on the hardest difficulty crushing and then go down to Explorer mode? Or does it only carry over if you play at the same level or above in your next playthrough?

You can play on any difficulty and everything carries over.

Is Uncharted 2 still some people's favourite? Just curious.

Not mine. Uncharted 4 has taken over 2 as my favourite in in the series. Uncharted 3 is my least favourite. That game was just pants.

Completed this the other night. For the most part I was pretty disinterested in the game; taking long breaks between gaming sessions, getting bored in-game and generally lacking enthusiasm to play on. Though, to be honest, I've only ever been a fan of Uncharted 1, which I picked up some years after release and was taken by surprise with how good it was, but since then I think each proceeding game has been a decline in the series.

Uncharted 4 would've been better with some more puzzles, a better story, more gameplay (the jumping and moving from one spot to the next was excessive). The final act left me annoyed: Rafe wasn't a decent enough villain to warrant getting the final showdown, which itself was disappointing, and for me hard to get through.

The new characters were okay, namely Nadine and Samuel.

Now I need to checkout the multiplayer that has been getting good reviews.

The multiplayer's good but could really do with more modes and maps.

Just finished my first playthrough (finally!) playing it on Hard, taking me just over 17 and a half hours.

Now looking to pick up some trophies (maybe aiming for the platinum depending on how easy I find them)

Will be interesting to see what they do with the Single player DLC. Does anyone have any thoughts or rumours as to what they'll be doing? I reckon they'll go down the same route at the TLoU DLC and get us to play as a different character.

The end ship fight made me think of some form of ending from, The Goonies.

At least the end of Uncharted 1 you had to stop the black haired bearded guy from taking away the golden cursed El Dorado mummy. I really really loved that game.

2 was the blue tree sap/tree of life that Lazarevic drank but you had to lure Lazarevic next to the blue sap blobs to explode to weaken him. Loved that game as well. Overall this was more like a militiary game with all the tanks, the gunships, the train fight with the stationary turret and gunship. 2 was stunning.

3 I can't quite fully remember it except there was some form of drug darts and an eclipse with another hidden city in sand caverns. Guys that had flamed eyes and fireballs with puma snarls. The plane scene was fantastic though.

I still prefer 1 and 2. 4 felt like a jungle type game with the bonus of the pirates. They all have their pluses. 4 alone is spectacular artwork though.

The final fight in UC3 has Nathan fighting Talbot after Katherine Marlowe is swallowed by a sinkhole. Eventually Nathan is thrown off the edge almost to his death whilst also catching a falling gun (dropped by Sully after he shoots Talbot in the shoulder). Sully and Talbot fight above whilst Nathan has to climb up. Talbot is just about a crush Sully's head with a large rock when Nathan shoots him in the head. The pair are then rescued by Salim.

Oh yes. This one was more film like than the first two.

Just finished it.

I liked the climbing and the puzzles. Sam was a good addition to the team.

I didn't like the endless and pointless battles with the grunts. That got boring as did the endless collapsing bridges.

If there is a sequel would love to see Nadine return. She could be the bodyguard on easy mode.

All in all a good game with a few flaws but still very enjoyable.
