Ugh! I need to stop looking in this thread. I'm trying to stop buying anymore games until I finished the ones I got. So so tempting
I know the feeling

I'm on Chapter 3, Thought it opened very well! While it didn't open as well as Uncharted 3, it certainly started off with a bang. I wont be rushing through it unlike the previous 2.

I'll be gutted for it to end on the 5th installment.... I hope it'll return in the future.

Been busy today so have been playing in chunks here & there throughout the day but the bits I have played have been outstanding (just at the start of chapter 6).

The climbing sections are as exciting as ever. The graphics are the best I've seen on any console with beautiful vistas & the emotions on the character's faces looking realistic. The dialogue between the characters is well written & acted out and the surprises so far have been very welcome.

The storyline is starting to grow legs now & I can't wait to get further into it tomorrow.

The game looks so good! I found myself messing about with the photo mode after ten minutes rather than actually playing the game.

Only up to the second chapter and it's a slow burn story wise so far but looking forward to getting into the thick of it and hopefully seeing some more familiar faces.

Decided to switch off for the night due to an early start tomorrow. Currently on Chapter 8, and the game is just as phenomenal as I was hoping it'd be. Not many games manage to meet expectations, but Naughty Dog seem to pull it out of the hat time and time again.

The intricate, thorough and detailed planning gone into this is amazing. The character models are fantastic (particularly Sully) and the locations are just so incredibly mapped. The area I'm in right now is my current favourite but I've not seen a location yet that wasn't breathtakingly beautiful and fun to explore.

Just started chapter 6 and had to turn it off or I'd be here all night. Incredible game so far. I love that ND have the confidence to let things build and chapter 4 was just wonderful for reasons that had nothing to do with gun fights or set pieces.

And I totally agree with others - it is THE most beautiful game. The facial animation is out of this world.

Just played through the first two chapters and was astounded that they were just an introduction! It looks beautiful so far and everything is so smooth, plenty of time for the story to build but even towards the end of that second chapter Nate's reaction to something got me in the feels slightly.

Just started playing this myself. Two words... Absolutely stunning! Shame it's the last uncharted to ever be made.

Not technically true. This will be the last in the series to be developed by Naughty Dog and the last to star Nathan Drake.

Other studios like Sony Bend could make another Uncharted game for the Vita/PS4 that takes place somewhere between Golden Abyss and A Thief's End or a new character could take the place of Nathan in UC5.

im up to Chapter 9 at the minute, the game is beautiful. I am a huge fan of the other 3 games but this is just something else! It feels "new" but doesn't sacrifice the old stuff that made the other games great. In fact, it reminds me of "The Last of Us" quite a bit. Not surprising since TLOU was the last game to be made by Naughty Dog. So far it's my GotY, I know it's only May but this is easily the best game released so far this year.

In terms of future games with a new lead character, I would like to see Chloe get her own game, but I guess people will just say it's too much like Tomb Raider then.

So yeah, to summarize, easily the best current PS4 exclusive.

That's what I feel with regards to this build up. I'm only on chapter 4 just now but it building up nicely, very much like how THLOU did.

It's a stunning game and it showcases the PS4 to its best. It also makes me REALLY want some sort of sequel to THLOU because though the PS3 and the PS4, both looked good, this is giving a glimpse what could be awesome!!!

Put it on last night, only to get my worst experience on PS4 ever!

1 minute into the prologue.....

"The disc cannot be read and the application needs to close" And then it spits the disc out.

NOOOOOOOOO!!!

Fortunately, after a quick clean it was back in the machine and I played up to the end of chapter 4 without any further incident.

But, damn, that was scary!

I was gonna buy it and then thought why should I its 50 quid at the moment and I havent played the HD collection yet. Might as well wait a few months as have plenty of games to play when it ll be slightly cheaper.

Have you played Uncharted on the PS3? Also, Uncharted 4 would spoil you for the collection. It is true what they say. Naughty Dog have ramped it up to 11

Wow.... Amazing game so far... Naughty Dog have done it again. They are the best developer for weaving story telling into a game and make even scenes which sound dull very enjoyable.

The game looks amazing and the character models and facial features are stunning.

Shame it's the last uncharted to ever be made.
Even as a huge Uncharted fan I am actually quite pleased this is the last instalment, we have had 4 main Uncharted games and its time to move on. I am looking forward to seeing a TLOU sequel and seeing where Naughty Dog go from here. I think they could take Uncharted and make a pretty decent 007 like Spy thriller.

I'd be OK with this being the last ever Uncharted. I think it would lose something if someone other than Naughty Dog did it, and I'd hate for them to keep churning the games out with diminishing quality. Let it go out on a massive high.

Loving this Game! Couldn't put it down yesterday.
It's absolutely beautiful no matter which way you look. Everything's solid, and the stealth and gunplay take a bit of getting used to off the back of the previous games.
This is the best game I have ever played. Slightly disappointed with the lack of Elena but I'm hoping that will be rectified towards the end
The puzzles are excellent, actually puzzling and no cheating by looking in your journal, another new feature I love: manually filling in the journal.
A little sad that this will be the last Uncharted, I would've loved to have seen future Uncharted games in this vein. It's so different to previous but the same.
