EE Lindsey Coulson
Tonight's ep just proves how brilliant Lindsey can be when given the right material, one of EE's most underrated actresses. Depth, intrigue and emotion all explored and evoked through every line she delivers. It will be so sad to see Carol leave the square but looking forward to more storylines.

One of the best in soap, ever, imo. Lindsey will be a big loss.

She's fantastic.
As is Linda Henry, great idea to put those two together shame it wasn't a two hander. |

Lindsey Coulson is one of the best actresses alongside Lacey Turner, Samantha Womack and Diane Parish and Kellie Bright. I will miss Carol when she leaves

She is great with the right material. We've hardly ever seen her with a friend, just with family or stuck in the café. She was a different person tonight, as was Shirley. TPTB are so bad at creating friendships, and when they do they only last for the duration of a s/l. I'd love to have seen more of Lindsay and Linda working together, and now it's too late.

Lindsey is a fabulous actress in a character that has been stuck and is going nowhere. Linda was in same position until Carter family were created. I can understand Lindsey going as the middle aged women role is going to be with Gillian Tayforth the who sadly is half the actress Lindsey is.

That was an amazing acting performance. One of the best I have seen on a soap.
IMO Lacey Turner, Samantha Womack and Kellie Bright don't come close to Lindsey Coulson. |

I hoe they can convince her to come back someday
I know people are complaining about the "shirley" show and it being the only reason for her being in the scenes with Carol but both actresses wer on a par with each and played a blinder. It was also right that it was shirley in the scenes cos she is the only one on the square who has even a modicum of the thoughts and feelings carol is going through having had a breast cancer scare herself so she could emphathise. yes she didnt go through What Carol did but she can understand. |

It needed a women of similar age and someone with acting talent to play off against Lindsey. Only Linda could do it.
Fantastic ep tonight, all performances were great but Lindsey's acting talent reigned. |

Riveting episode. At the risk of revealing too much, my daughter recently underwent a double. mastectomy for cancer (January). My eyes were focused on the programme from beginning to end tonight because I know...I and millions of other women know...how difficult it is. I've watched my daughter heal and grow and when the programme was finished, I simply cried. for the memory is still fresh. As my daughter said, having boobs is just a couple of cherries on a beautiful cake. I believe Lindsay Coulson presented the issue perfectly and in our home, it was one of the best EE episodes ever.

Two of the best actresses in soapland, delivering great performances: best EE for ages. They are head and shoulders above the rest of the cast.
I didn't know Lindsey Coulson was leaving. Damn shame, I was hoping they'd be sort-of- buddies. Shirley's character is much better developed when she gets a chance to show some warmth, like she did a couple of times with Jean Slater. Lindsey Coulson is a fantastic actress. I'd like to see her in a role that really stretches her. |
