ED - Robert Sugden, evil monster? (Spoilers)
So it seems that Robert Sugden will next week
Spoiler
http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/soaps/s1...phjBivAxWXOwOQ Are we looking at a new truly evil villain? He has a limited shelf life if so, does he not? I'd be sad to see Robert go, I think he's a great character. |

I agree, I hope they don't make him so bad that he has to leave because I'm really enjoying Robert MkII (or is it 3?) and rate the actor. I wasn't too keen on a recast but have surprised myself by how quickly I've taken to this new badder Robert.
I'm sure he's just misunderstood really

I don't think he will try and kill him I think he is trying to scare him as revenge for him interfering in his relationships with Chrissie and Aaron. The tension has probably been building up inside since the Cain stuff but he doesn't have a big enough pair to stand up to Cain so he picks on easy prey. They are senstionalising what happens to get headlines to make people watch but we know that...

Robert is a baddie, but not evil. He's no Cameron.

I used to love Robert when he was played by Christopher Smith, didn't take to Karl Davies in the role at all so wasn't bothered he declined a return - rather like this 3rd version (probably 4th I assume there was a baby version but as far as I'm concerned acting wise it's 3)
Don't get me wrong I love the actor playing him, I think the character though is vile (but that's what makes him so good) I quite enjoy seeing Cain trample all over him though (Cain is a lovable villain - Robert is not) |

Exactly. He's a wannabe baddie. Chrissie on the other hand didn't have any problem with Charlie killing her ex husband. Remember Rob's face:

Robert is an evil, nasty, worthless piece of scum. He and his greasy selfish lover deserve each other, preferably in a ditch somewhere. They are disgusting, remorseless cheating vermin.

Guessing you're not a Robron fan then Pandora?
![]() ![]() I'd be more indifferent to it if people actually thought about Chrissie's feelings in this, rather than buying into the stupid "epic love story" the show has tried to build. If anyone thinks that it's a healthy "relationship", god help them. |
