Z3 insurance issue

I had a cracked screen on my Z3 and sent it off for an insurance claim (lifestyle). I was told it would come back fully guaranteed. Very fast turn around, I sent it monday and got it back today. After testing it in the bath the screen now doesn't work even though the phone is on. I hope I'm not going to have any problems when I ring them up in the morning!

My Z3 bent in my pocket, so the back glass separated slightly and when using the phone in the pool, water got in and now the screen doesn't work :/ well, it does but the backlight doesn't.

I've looked up getting a screen replaced for these phones online and they nearly all say that the phones are no longer waterproof after the screen has been replaced. I think the water ingress happens through the ear piece as this has to be removed too as part of the process and when they put it back it isn't properly sealed.

Anyway, if they didn't warn you that the phone would not be waterproofed when they returned it to you then you definitely have a case.

The phone is sold as water proof (over the years there has been a lot of debate over whether it's water resistant or proof, but Sony seems to favour saying it's water PROOF) so if it's repaired, I'd expect it to retain that nature or else it's no longer the phone you bought.
