It can't be that as I thought the YF filming dates had been revealed as being the following week?

And it's pretty awful

So, 3 weeks to go. I was expecting them to wait till this weekend, as all their Strictly promotion will be done then.

If Apprentice launches week 12 October then unless its a two hour opening cant see where they could put a double opener as a new drama is scheduked for Tuesday at 9 and the last Who do you think is on Thursday at 9

Who's to say they will? They did it Series 7, 9 and 10 but not Series 8. It's not a precedent.

Yes but that's the only way they can fit it in by Christmas!

Well, they could have a double bill in the final week, rather than in the first?

Perhaps - but they had to do 2 in the final week last year to fill it in, so they'd have to do 3 that week! Unless they did Tuesday and Wednesday the 22nd and 23rd December.

2 hours in one night might be a bit much. Unless they did 7.30-8.30 and then 9-10 or something like that.

Just checked RT, not sure what the above poster was talking about... There is a drama FINISHING on Tuesday 6th October, which would free up Tuesday 13th October for the first episode of The Apprentice.

Your'e fired audience tickets confirm what we already assumed, the show will start on Tuesday 13th, with a second episode the next day and then on every Wednesday thereafter.

I imagine we'll have some kind of online exclusive by Wednesday.

I think it may be Wednesday and Thursday it's on the week after next, as there are 2 programmes scheduled for Tuesday night in the BBC media centre.
