I hope this will be the ending she gets. Hopefully it will be a surprise for us. David will take her off in the sunset.

I do hope so, I don't think there's been any surprise returnees this year have they?

I doubt it. She ended it with him. If he came back I don't see how it would change things. She'd surely send him packing again?

It would be a great exit, and leave things open for a return for them both.

I hope not
I like David and I like them both together but he brings too much pain to Carol and that was why she let him go last year. There are some couples are who right for one another, but also so wrong for one another. Much like Tanya and Max.

I hope he does but the twist is she runs off leaving the square and abandoning David there, leaving him still around and no Carol dragging him down/constantly having a go at him

I wonder if Lindsey will return for a third stint as Carol or is this it?

In this scenario, would David go arse over tip and faceplant the road?

She doesn't deserve him after the way she treated him so I hope not. She should go off to stew alone in her own misery - it's the only way she'll ever be truly happy.

I will love to see Carol and David go off together on Jim's bike.

I hope she doesn't go off with any off those godwaful children of hers. Let her have a smile on her face instead of those lot bringing her down. She's been a misery for far too long.

She probably will leave with Robbie because he is back but after all the talk of her wanting to be her again, I would much prefer her to leave on the bike.

I had hoped David would be part of Carol exit story but I think its going to centre around Robbie bore Jackson.

... ... Am I the only one who thought David died of a heart attack just a few years ago?!

Personally I'd have preferred her to have left with David. She hasn't really had a central role since. To have David and Carol as occasional returnees for a storyline would work well. Either individually or as a couple. Not to be sadly.

I think Carol might go to India with Robbie.

The one decent actress is leaving and the worst ones are still in the show

Because she wants to. Unless you are saying that actors should be tied to a show and made to work whether they want to or not?

Or returning. Replacing Coulson with Tayforth is like replacing a premier league player with a league 2 player. I can understand her going though as the older female matriarch role is being passed and why stay around. She'll go to India.

It would be a really nice feel good story line... sadly EE don't do those.

Kathy?

I think that would be nice but it would mean she would be unlikely to come back after getting her happy ending!

I think going to stay with robbie in india and doing so e tea elling would be a fitting exit cos it would make sense for her to return a year or so down the line invigorated

eh what?? do you even know what Matriarch means ?

by the above you clearly do not!

the square has always had them, peggy, pat, Pauline, it refers to the female head of the family who rules the roost of their family not other peoples

passed around 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

I think it's looking like she'll go to India with Robbie, but maybe that's what they want us to believe and they're planning a surprise return for David then at the last minute she'll decide to leave with him instead.

Kalfie got their happy ending years ago and they came back so anything's possible.
