the actor who plays david is unlikely to come back and stay so her happy ending wouldnt last which in my opinion would be a shame

Wouldn't it be amazing if Michael French returned for a couple of more episodes . Carol was going on about how she wanted things to go back to how they were and part of that was her being with David . But I think he is always going to have commitment issues .

Also his medical situation was left a bit up in the air .

I can't remember I think he turned down that woman ( Terrys ex)

I'd love David to come back & whisk her off her feet, but I doubt it would happen.
