Given the unfortunate circumstances last year, do you want to see Craig Charles return so he can have the full jungle experience he was hoping to get by going in?

Personally, I really want to see him back. I thought he was great last year and if it wasn't for his brother's sad passing, I reckon he could have won the competition.

And if he wants to do it, why not?

I think it's only fair he gets the full experience this year after the unfortunate circumstances last year.

I'd absolutely love to see him return, and be crowned jungle king! I'm not sure how he'd fit it in with his other commitments, like his gigs and Red Dwarf, though.

I don't think it would be too hard for him to squeeze it in. Last time he had Punk & Soul gigs but he cancelled them for I'm A Celebrity and Red Drawf filming may take place after I'm A Celeb to accommodate Craig Charles going in.

Craig wouldn't cancel his funk gigs for anything, and the Red Dwarf filming is all set for November, so as nice as the thought is, there's no way he could fit in the jungle this year

Could be rescheduled though if they respect Craig's decision to go in. It's a difficult situation but I'm sure they'd understand if he'd want to do I'm A Celeb this year because he couldn't finish it properly last time, given his brother passed last year.

I'm not sure why you'd think that? In the entire history of Craig's funk gig (11 plus igs a month, since 2009) Craig has only ever had 2 cancelled gigs, and neither relating to I'm A Celebrity, which he knew he was doing around 8 months in advance. He simply wouldn't cancel a gig if he had any choice, as he'd hate people to be disappointed.

There was a tiny bit of a uproar about it at the time online because there were two he couldn't do because of I'm A Celeb. Saw it on Twitter.

I do see the odd tweet that makes no sense. I can only imaging a venue, or two, got over-enthusiastic in saying Craig would be playing, when Craig hadn't signed any contracts, as like I say, he knew he wasn't available that month.
