No he wasn't. I haven't been watching since 17th October edition when the show returned. I was bored stiff with that game and realised I just had no appetite to sit through it anymore whatsoever when it finally returned. Plus the fact of knowing the shows have been canned for 18 months or so puts them on a par with the ancient repeats on Challenge even if they are not actually repeats. DOND should have ended 2 or 3 years ago before the tinkering about started. It would have gone out on a high after the male quarter million winners, two in six months. As it now stands it is going out with an almighty whimper having even managed to alienate and bore some of its long standing hardcore fans. Only the masochist hardcore of hardcore now remain. I'm not sure I'm even enthused about the new finale ones they've recorded recently in roadshow form. I'll check them out when they appear but as for these final studio ones I'm done with those.

Seems like the box game has now withered away too despite initial box numbers being allocated a month ago. A little bit sad seeing how this thread has dwindled to nothing.
I thought I ought to pay a passing visit around these parts tonight just to check it out though.
