I have seen parts of the Deal on Tour games. C4 have provided a commentary on these games, presumably for the visually impaired.

Yesterday, when the player chose his second box, the person describing what was happening said £250,000 before the box was opened to reveal that sum. It happened at least a couple of times earlier in the week with different sums being revealed.

Good game today. When it got down to the last five boxes and she still had the £250K, £75K and £50K left I thought this must be the quarter million winner. I thought she'd get left with the £250K and one of the other reds and go for it.

Well obviously that didn't happen, so it must be later on this week.

Just what I said myself the other day on here because Noel is not beginning each show with the traditional resume of the previous game played. It is so very clear that they have decided to save the £250,000 winner for the very last game of DOND on this tour for Friday, which will leave the game rather lacking in any sense of excitement sadly and rather ironically.

Must say that I've really enjoyed the Wookey Hole game in the cave and the 737 jet edition today that took off after the first round. Noel looked particularly fetching as a stewardess but looked his natural self at the start in captain suit and shades. I notice the DOND Wikipedia page already has the ninth £250K winner listed, including their name, and the transmission date.

So we know that the quarter million winner will be this Friday afternoon just before 5pm (6pm on +1) in the show from Glasgow. How contrived to save it until the last edition, and utterly pointless in terms of any suspense. I've enjoyed this weeks games but what a very silly thing to flag up this big winner and then leave it so we know the precise show it will be beforehand as well.

Also somewhat curious that this particular edition out of nearly 3,000 of DOND just happened to be in front of the biggest ever live audience of "pilgrims" it ever had in 11 years.
