There's no way she wouldn't accept £66,666.

The swap is declined so Box 1 stays on the table

Well well well, almost certainly a fix.

Well deserved, not sure I'd be brave enough to decline that much money and this is my first time seeing someone win the £250K

The truth will come out early next year.

And that's it then after 11 years

To everyone who particpated in our box game, chipped in with commentary, stats and number crunching, massive thanks for keeping the various incarnations of this thread ticking over

For me, it has been an honour to do commentaries over the years and I know some of us will still be bumping into each other out there through various show threads

In the meantime, have a wonderful Christmas and New Year, keep on rocking and see you out there somewhere in 2017

You conspiracy theorists are hilarious.

She looked far too overwhelmed for this to be a fix. And I assume you are thinking that because this is the last show it must be a fix? Well, its the last show they broadcast but I would make a big bet that it wasnt the last show they filmed. There is a difference

So is that it then, the last DOND ever?

Yeah this could have been the first filmed then shown last for a good end to a show, and as it must be a fix if she declines that sort of money, well if you apply that logic then everyone who has won the £250K must have been a fix too.

I've actually enjoyed these specials, they were like DOND used to be when there wasn't all that guess the opening offer and box 23 nonsense.

I know shows have to evolve, but I think if they had stayed at 22 boxes they would have been in much better shape at the end

Box 23 and the offer button just cluttered things up IMO, and besides wasn't very fair on the players pre-gimmicks especially those who had gone away with a pittance

I have totally enjoyed Deal Or No Deal the last few weeks, it is a shame it has to end, and like Richie said, I think if they just stuck to "Classic Deal" they would have been in a better shape, I enjoyed today's game and it was a fitting way to end, I would LIKE TO THANK RICHIE for all the commentaries he did, I will probably be seeing him commenting on Reality TV Shows.

I WILL MISS EVERYONE.

I'd like to see what the biggest difference between the last two boxes is for the others who won £250k, I've only seen two jackpot winners and they were huge last boxes something like £75k and £250k and 100k and 250k, in those instances I can understand the player saying no deal because they were guaranteed 75k and 100k but to risk walking away with £750 when you could have a guaranteed £66,666 just doesn't ring right to me. Especially as her back story had her owing her parents a vast amount of money after they remortgaged their house to enable her to buy her place.
This was definitely filmed to be the last show, big audience, grand setting and Noels goodbye was bigger, grander and more final than any of the others this week.
I smell a rat.
