BT were supposed to be installing their TV service with us today between 12 and 3pm. No show from engineer not even a call to say they were running late.

Absolute shoddy customer service.

Why were you getting them to install?

It's literally just connecting a YouView box to the TV!

Unless the OP is also getting Infinity and is getting an engineer install rather than using the plug in filter DIY option

This maybe true but going by the post we are giving a reply to the information the OP has given, If indeed its infinity too poor but hassle the BT call centre and you get results I did as they have engineers spare to get stuff done

No cancellation as BT addressed the aerial problem and were offering an excellent deal. Pity they couldn't stick with their agreement.

Not on a Saturday afternoon they don't. Next Thursday is the earliest they could offer.

In a linked post you said your aerial was probably no good, and a Youview box needs one as well as a broadband connection , did BT offer to install an aerial for you ?, is this what they failed to deliver ?
