Yes, maybe so but they got the result they wanted, unlike some Marc fans who are crying in their beer They should have voted some more.

I believe the producers wanted him gone, I can't believe they made such a basic error.

That is why I am surprised he has gone, I was so sure BB wanted him to win, if not then at least until the cash task, that would have set it all off.......

VTE system sucks ass, it encourages block voting, the fans of Danny, Jack, Chloe and Cristian were always going to join forces and vote Marc out.

Marc fans could have saved him if we all agreed to vote Jack out, which I suggested but got shouted down.

But the fact remains, vote to evict is a horrible system and deeply unfair.

But then your just playing into the BB producers hands and falling for their ploy to get your hard earned money. Marc supporters may be disappointed but at least they arnt that stupid.

People on here are constantly saying that females dominate the voting that site you mention is 70% male and so not representative of the general public and if it's to be believed mainly females vote then it is also far from representative of the voting public.

I imagine a lot of his votes were payback for how poorly the producers ran the show last year (pretty much every year) Marc paid for the producers' incompetence.

putting a 2 grand bet on marc yesterday would have netted 10 grand, so the punter could spend a grand voting him out, which would surely be enough, and he has got himself a 9 grand profit.

You can't please everyone, but I personally favor SAVE over EVICT as it's generally a more positive situation. You're evicted because people hate you - or at least a few people who hate you enough to spend big money. You're saved because people enjoy you. It seems a much more fair way of doing things in regards to the viewers and who the majority would like to spend time watching.

People moan either way, but with vote to save, I can't imagine the likes of Chloe, Danny, or that tool Cristian would still be in.

True and within the parameters of the how the show is run i do accept it.
But just as people mitigate Helen winning on the basis of a voting anomally etc it is equally valid to question the legitimacy of Marcs exit on the grounds of imperfect game setup.
But given the rules as existing at present - fair play - the "this behaviour is unacceptable" brigade paid there money and got the result they wanted.

I don't. I think the producers are confused over who is actually watching the show and voting. They think they are attracting the TOWIE crowd but that's a minority of viewers / voters. A large segment of viewer/voters are people (more skewed to women than men) over 50. Older people make more money and can spend more money and they don't take to people who call women cumbuckets nor people who think 50 is ready for the knackers yard.


Some people do have jobs and an income and can spend what they like on what they like. How easy is it to spend 20 or 25 pounds in a few hours or less at a bar?

You have to think about the maths behind Vote to Evict, and multiple voting

For example, if Marc was the biggest competition (and every poll and betting site suggested he was) it would make sense for not just every Jack, Sam and Harry fan to vote against him, but every Danny, Christian and Chloe fan too

It makes it very easy for a small number of voters to control the vote outcome ... That's why we don't conduct parliamentary elections with vote to evict

I have to agree with you re the producers being confused over who is watching. Its clear they are after the TOWIE audience and its clear they aren't getting them.

I have never complained. It's done, he's out and it was fair.

I wouldn't ever spend that amount, even to save a person I liked. It's not worth it to me.

Helen's win was a travesty and a joke. She won with a vote to save and why I hate it. She also had a pass to the final.

There will always be anomalies in the voting but with either VTE or VTS people will still multi-vote. It has always happened.

Not every Marc fan is whinging I agree but many have and still are.

Some people enjoy the voting, it's all part of the game.

It would be too easy - every Labour, Lib Dem, SNP, Mad Raving Loony Party, etc. supporter would vote them out of the competition immediately ... They might be the most popular party, but they'd also be the most unpopular, and that would always work against them
