My line was up for renewal about two months ago and i was offered a deal which would have costed me for phone evening and weekend calls with BT Infinity option 2 for £40 -
at the time i was paying £32 for both following a previous years discount.
After asking for my Mac code, the guy said he would send it to me half hour later. So i waited half hour, nothing, on calling them back asking for it, they said no - it will take 3-5 working days for a MAC code. He then questioned why i wanted to cancel and i made a remark that comparing with other providers, the new deal was more expensive than Plusnet.
BT Matched plusnet and now paying £32 pcm for both phone and infinity 2 - dont listen to their rubbish - dont take their first offer.
