Been a Netflix user for a couple of years now and think it's a pretty decent service but after a show I was watching was removed I took out a month trial on Amazon Instant as the show was on there, and now after having a browse of the site wondered what people's thoughts were on how it compares to Netflix and if there is anything particularly different or better particularly the selection of TV and movies? From what I've seen the choices are pretty similar except Amazon has the extra option of renting and buying movies and TV that isn't included in the subscription streaming.

I would say Prime v UK Netfix their about on par, but Prime v all regions of NF then there's no comparison. I have both a don't use Prime that much, but it does have some good pilot episodes and their own series like Bosch for example. They also had season 1 of Turn on there, but now NF has season 2 as well as Prime.

Yep, tried US, Australian and Canadian Netflix, far superior film selections but for TV shows I would say the other regions are not vastly better than the UK version, I mainly use Netflix for TV.
