No doubt they will go back to hating each other.

Of course we have no idea how long Phil has known, if he only found whilst in prison earlier this year then with everything that has gone on I can see why Phil has kept quiet especially if Gavin is a danger.

Phill had plenty of other chances since then, I think he doesn't want to rock the boat. The thing is Kathy knows where Ian lives so she can always pop on a bus and go see him.

It's ridiculous that she needs his permission to visit her own children. Is she really so frightened of him (and what he could do to her) that she can't just get on a bus or into a black cab one day and go visit Ian & Ben?!

I think he will be furious and probably put the blame on Phil initially, although from what Harry Reid has said it seems the Phil will bare a good chunk anger from Ben and we know what he like blaming Phil, but maybe it will be explained why Phil hasn't just told them it not something you can just come out with.

I never understand why people took what Phil said the wrong way in that regards as I said in my previous this isn't something you just come out with, I know it could come across as begging for permission but I think for once Phil is thinking about the repercussions for Ben and Ian, both have been through a lot, especially Ian the last 15 months, knowing their mother been alive for 10 years, fake her death and never contacted them, that will mess with anyone mind, especially when it goes against everything they know about Kathy,

she was not the type of mother ever to just leave her sons or make them think she dead so now it comes out she has, it gonna be a very difficult and awkward situation, they are all very different people since the last time they saw each other and I would imagine Kathy is not the same women she was when we last saw her and the guilt she going to feel about what happened especially to Ben which probably could of been prevented if she was there.

Maybe Gavin has threatened to do something to Ben if she doesn't comply with his wishes.

Ian's hatred of Phil will be reignited I'm sure, that Phil has sat on this the past few months.

I'm not so sure. If it turns out that Phil rescues Kathy from imminent death - which the pics suggest - then wont Ian be thankful on some level that his mum has been taken away from a life of complete hell?

I only say this because I'm certain that the 'feud' (ie, the abuse of Ian) has been bankrupt of any genuine creativity for years now, and Adam Woodyatt can do so much more than squeal as Steve McFadden dunks him in BBC prop gunge on a monthly basis.

Ian will wimp out as usual. As far as Kathy visiting, she could have sent a card or made a phone call.

I wonder if Kathy knows about Lucy's death. If Phil told her off screen, she must be even more gutted that she's been barred from returning to Walford.

He'll probably cover up another murder of one of his kids about it.

"You knew? YOU KNEW!? YOU KNEW THAT MY MUM WAS ALIVE!?" with his voice getting increasingly high and whiny, as Phil mumbles some excuses.

Ian will turn in George Foreman and land an uppercut that launches the Philth into the stratosphere.

Or perhaps he just bursts into tears.

Probably the same way he reacted to finding out Jane helped cover Lucy murder and that Bobby killed his sister. so in other words he'll cry for a bit then go back to complaining about napkins.

I really really hope they do not mess this up, Kathy was brought back from the dead for a good reason. writers these days are incapable of writing for classics. They need to have some continuity because Kathy does not know where Ian lives, she doesn't know Pauline is dead or about Lucy, I'd like to see these long awaited reaction but I'm sure these imcompetent writers will poop this up some way.

I think Kathy already knows about Lucy's death because it had been on the news a lot.

Ohh well I'd like to have watched Kathy watching the news Lol. They can't do every key thing offscreen, that's not good.
