I would have more respect for Danny being such an odious little man and playing the 'nice guy' if he had even half a brain to be able to pull it off and be even moderately convincing.

It's become clear from looking at a number of threads that no matter what he does or says some people will continue to make excuses for him, but suffice it to say your post is bang on the money here.

I agree with all of these comments. The BB fanbase is embarrassing itself once again. No wonder why people who don't watch BB think that BB fans are weird, even i'm starting to think that way.

Honestly I wouldn't have paid much attention to Danny either way. I don't mind him and don't particularly like him but I am seriously getting to the point in seeing all these "exposing" Danny threads that maybe it would be pretty fun if he won. I wonder what Helen would say in her column about that.

Exactly, he has one connection through whom he would have met most of them - Winston was also on Girlfriends.

If he goes to any kind of events with Ricci, a lot of the other reality show people (like Made in Chelsea which Stephanie Pratt is on) he would have met others. Danny also knows somebody who is TOWIE doesn't he, so he'd know that bunch.

I personally don't see the problem myself. If he knows people, so what. They are people he knows. James Jordan I don't think really knows him, but was including him in a tweet that was also to Ricci and others about meeting up, seeing as James and Ricci were on CBB together it's no surprise, as well as George Gilbey (is that the name?)

So, people think is that he shouldn't be allowed onto BB because he knows some people, he should have been excluded? Let's not forget that, if he was head-hunted rather than applied, it's happened for many years even on C4 (remember Keeva, she was head-hunted). I imagine others were too.

I wasn't suggesting you watch TOWIE or BOTS. I think when I said that TOWIE shit gave it away that I don't watch it. Also I don't watch BOTS haven't for years. Except the friday show at times. I don't use twitter.

Are you kidding no end of housemates lie about wanting to be famous.. Including Marc according to him he apparently doesn't want to be famous. But what was talafornia and BB all about , it was about his quest for fame obviously. It's a classic BB housemate bullshit line to claim they don't want to be famous. Very few are actually honest about that one.

As for all this Danny pretending to be nice stuff. Danny hasn't made out like he's mother teresa or something this is the way that some people are going on here. So what if he has stuck up for the people in his 'pack' within his group. That is not a bad thing.
He's also said he doesn't like getting angry , that means he knows he does get angry. So he's admitting that one. He's not denying it.
As for the fat stuff yes he has posted a tweet that mentions fat women who try an get with him on a night out. Of course that is a bad thing to say.

But do you have any idea how many men and women on nights out do spill out similar crap about the opposite sex. A lot of piss taking of personal appearance goes on behind peoples backs , usually when people are drunk.

Imo it's better than actually saying someone is fat straight out to their faces. As Marc did do in the house a few times too. As the saying goes what you don't know can't hurt you. Or effect you. Helen and Marc could learn from that saying , you do not always have to open your mouth and tell 'it' to peoples faces. If you have something vile to say about someone my view is most of the time.. just keep it to yourself. Most of the time there really is just no need for it.

The thing about this that makes me laugh the most is Winston's tweet about having a night out at Faces. I went there when I was about 15 (used to live but a stones throw away, yes, I'm an Essex girl originally) and it was a serious dive! Fair enough, nearly 30 years on, it's probably changed but I'll always remember it as being quite possibly the dirtiest and skankiest club I've ever inhabited. (I only stayed for a couple of hours it was so dire).

Who knew it would become a "hot spot" for Essex Z listers in 30 years time, haha!

One of the few positives of twitter , in my view anyway , is that it separates the wheat from the chaff . I've seen celebs I rather liked tweet awful things that revealed their inner not nice persona, and zelebs I never took much notice of or even disliked tweeting of wonderful things they are involved in , like animal rights , disability rights, equality , or just encouraging those struggling to cope .
Danny does none of that. It's just horrible that he has this chivalrous facade yet hates on 'fat girls' and encourages bullying . Not just online bullying either but hoping a girl gets bullied on the street . He's just horrible .

I don't know why many forum members are getting so annoyed with that tweet from Danny. This forum has being mocking Jack's weight since he went in the house. Could some people be more hypocritical ?

But Danny makes out he's so much better than that, that's why it's is a bit tough to swallow seeing him be so mean and judgemental on Twitter, especially towards women - something he claimed to hate when Marc went for Chloe.

Jack mocks Jack's weight . He wears clothes and hats too small and calls himself pie face as his actual twitter ID . He is under no illusions.
Girls on the heavier side who go to the kind of places zelebs go clearly think themselves perfectly equal to any other girl there (which they should be), and even if Danny thinks not then he should keep it to himself .
