That was a great episode (by C5 standards) - the prize money contrivance was dull but nice to see the HMs get together to show BB that despite their efforts to break them down they can still bond together and act as a team/group against their oppressor - it was a nice (and rare) reminder of the good old days.

They kept screeching and looking scared and I kept thinking of Dead Set- if Big Brother had been on the ball they could have chucked a zombie or 2 in the runs, they heard them scheming.

If he'd have been there it would have been the usual yawn fest all about him. I thought it was great. Much more like the REAL BB.

Are you lot serious That was the biggest hunk of sh*t ever.
The BIG CASHBOMB twist was a total nonevent. The nominations ended up being who would have been up anyway (Sam/Harry etc).
Joel used some of the prize fund to buy a pizza and the other housemates basically just shrugged their shoulders.
The producers must be pulling their hair out having to try and get drama out of these bunch of bores!!!

When you say drama I presume you mean arguments?

Not everything entertaining has to involve a row.

True, very true. The rebellion of running out the exits has been done to death over the years, none of them are very original are they.

Not unless Marc or Marq or Mark has signed up to DS.

Yes it was. The best episode of the series so far and I think now Marc has gone we will see more of this. Big Brother is not all about the arguments. Channel 5 need to learn from tonight.

If Marc was there that would not of happened and if it did we would have only got 30 seconds of it.

That was a rubbish show . Apart from BB trying to force then into actually waking up from their stupour it was just them sitting around eating and moaning and screaming like little girlies in the camera run a la 2007. Dull as ditch water .

What we saw tonight was normal people reacting to stressful events. MUCH more interesting than watching a self obsessed performing monkey.

No when I say drama I mean 'anything dramatic'.
The big cash bomb twist was a total non-event.
None of them want to stick their head above the parapet now because they know they will risk looking like the baddie now Marc has gone and left that role vacant.

It was fun for the most part with a little bit of deluded HM included Best episode of the series.

Have we really been dumbed down that much that we think that flat and contrived episode tonight is good ? The revolt was about building up something for their best bits which I imagine are scarce. It looked forced . 1 out of 10

Big Brother is a ten week series. Really a dramatic moment shouldn't happen every night as it wears not only the Housemates down (as seen this series) but the audience as well. There's only so much 'drama' someone can take before feeling tired of it all.

Over the Timewarp I finished most episodes feeling exhausted, drained and almost depressed at the constant sniping, bitching and shouting. Of course, that's a way of life by a light-hearted episode which leaves a happier feeling is a way of life too and, for me, is much needed in any series of Big Brother - again for the audience's sake as much as the Housemates.

It was alright, but hardly brilliant.

But that's objective anyway and if others thought so, great. TBH the whole series has been mediocre with only a couple of episodes being great for laughs or drama.

So... summing up the thread so far... diehard Marc fans thought it was the worst episode of the series, while most other people enjoyed it.

Nah, almost every episode for the first 3 weeks was worse.

You're right... it's more like screeching baboon than monkey.
I think of them all as performing chimps.

You don't have to be a Marc fan to see that tonight's episode was below par and contrived. Perhaps tomorrow night will be better

It was a lighthearted fun episode I must have missed that.
They spent the whole show moaning until the end where they did the same old camera run shtick that we've seen a million times. And they even managed to make that look forced & tiresome zzzzzzz

I voted Marc out but it was a naff episode for simpletons.

OMG he's been given a small Pizza - humour for 6 year olds.
