You can tell by all the negative comments people are threatened by his chances of winning so posting negatives about Joel is an attempt to deflect from all the negatives of Danny, Cristian, Chloe, and Jack.

Joel said winning was more important than the money. I don't recall him saying he did not want the money. Getting immunity gets him closer to winning.

He's a horrific right-wing Tory boy. Should suit channel 5 down to the ground with them constantly demonizing people on benefits and immigrants.

And now your mentioning the Jack/Joel thing what about the way he chastised Jack in the hotel task when he was sat on his arse in his robe all day. What did he, and Chloe, Danny contribute. Total hypocracy and for that reason alone and gobby Chloe they don't deserve to win.

They were the guests in the task - they didn't have to do anything except be waited on and demand various services and Joel acted his role perfectly - just the sort of guest you would have in a 5 star hotel form experience. To be fair - Jack played it well too - even though I want Joel to win for various reasons I am level headed enough to acknowledge when other housemates have a good day/task. Be interested on the discussions tonight about Jack and his £4k bid for the football results...

Rex and Harry both spent the weekly shopping budget. Joel spent £2,500 of the prize fund! On a tiny, frozen pizza. It wasn't just that he did it that was funny, if the edit is to be believed he just took it upon himself to try and negotiate. But you have to hand it to Big Brother really for seizing the opportunity with both hands.

Has any previous housemate ever spent some of the prize money?

Doubtful. After Marc has gone, suddenly 50% of FMs don't have a favourite, so why would all criticism of Joel be to deflect from other HMs?

He's a smug git.

He said if he was offered the prize money but it meant he could not win,he would not take the prize money it is all about winning,Jack pulled him up on this, good for Jack,I dont believe Joel.

He was my second Favourite to win, after the way he spoke down to Jack about bringing all the food into the lounge area of the house so he could watch it, saying only the guests would get tobacco if anyone ate anything, okay for him though he was on luxury food and doing absolutely nothing all day, throwing the pastry in Jacks face was out of order he should have got a warning for that,I have gone off the arrogant litte twerp, he should not have brought his political views into the house as a platform to further a career for himself, the BB house is not the place, probably will do him more harm than good, I really hope he does not win.

I have never ever ordered any takeaway food and I am neither greedy nor stupid.

Joel was quick off the mark, entered into the spirit of things and made me laugh. It was bound to be a re-run of the Stu cowboy hat scenario.

The pizza was pretty funny on behalf of BB but not so much on Joel - he spent £2,500 on a pizza just for himself and lied to the HMs about it - that's not a positive thing, its selfish and dishonest and actually pretty stupid.

This is the guy who wants to be a politician showing he has no ethics - so he'll fit right in. He also thought chickens laid eggs through their necks

I thought Jack nailed him pretty well too re Joel asking questions to trip others up then taking the moral high ground himself to look good.

The button needed to be pressed as soon as possible - and pressing it also meant you get to nominate and gain exemption so they would all want to press it first if they could for both selfish and possibly unselfish reasons. Chloe complained she had no chance (because the boys faster?) and so clearly would liked to have pressed it first if she could. She was one of the first to speak and reduce the prize money. So ironic that she had such a go at Joel and that she was the one who decided they should all go wild and risk losing even more money. She's the one that I was most disappointed in - what a hypocrite!

LOL! I'd forgotten about that. And the rest of them seemed undecided about whether eggs come out of a chicken's bum. I guess most people would be surprised to hear that chickens don't even have bums though.

His actions last night with the pizza were selfish, greedy and materialistic.

But going by his twitter, he shops at Louis Vutton so i doubt money is ever really an issue anyway on the outside.

I hope Joel or Nick wins!

I totally agree with you, Chloe acts like a spoilt brat when she doesn't get her own way, talking and losing money but giving Joel and Jack stick for losing money!

He's not so much smart as a smart-ass and not so much mature as cocksure. OK, he makes a refreshing change from dimwitted, inarticulate HMs, but that doesn't make him likeable.
