He did think it was "a laugh", he didn't believe BB would go through with the deal... that's why he was so sheepish when he went back in the DR...

He didn't lie either, he told them he dealt at 2.5k, that's why Chloe called him a moron.

For me, Chloe is a Marmite character, because I don't dislike Marmite but I wouldn't choose it.

He pretended that he thought it was a laugh, but he was lying going by what we saw of him making the deal.

Starts at about 29 minutes, if you want to watch it again.

I can't think of a word for that.”

I quite liked Joel and thought he was a generally principled and decent person. After the Pizza incident I have changed my mind. It was an irresponsible and selfish thing to do and he compounded that by deliberately misleading the housemates into thinking he was tricked into doing it when we saw quite clearly that he knew exactly what he was doing and was happy to do it.

He was never my winner but he's gone considerably down in my estimation now.

He lied when he first left the diary room, watch it back. That's why he looked so sheepish the second time he went in, because the reaction of the others to his first 'it was just an innocent conversation with BB' nonsense had been taken so badly by the others.

Then he got that tiny frozen pizza lol

I still believe it's the best moment this series, whether he lied or not.

The show this year has lacked silliness and fun and for me this was vintage BB, it reminded me a lot of Rex in BB9.

Also of Harry and the bananas which is one of my favourites ever. I miss the shopping budget/ordering so much

He was greedy because he didn't insist that if he ordered pizza then they would all be allowed to share it.........And stupid because he should have asked what kind of pizza it was, I mean you wouldn't want pepperoni on it if you didn't like it would you?

So basically for someone who's always asking questions he didn't want to know very much about a pizza costing £2,500.0 did he?!

Same here. It added a little light relief to a heavy house, and showed that Joel has a sense of humour!

I didn't think that it showed he had a sense of humour; he just did it for the attention it would get him.
