I despise the BOB twist so much. And I knew Shelli/Clay would be all anti-Davonne, quelle surprise given Clay's instagram history and the fact he fulfills the "southern blonde white boy" role for a CBS a role that on shows like Survivor and BB have always been hostile to black women.

This is one of the few times the BotB twist has been more interesting, with the HoHs apparently having different agendas rather than just tediously agreeing completely with each other.
The ultra dull previous HoHs from the last round (the gay guy and the asian southerner) really bore me in this season. On top of that you've got the others who are the usual non-players (or sheepguests as I'd call them). At least some like Shelli, Clay, Da'vonne, Audrey are actually playing and mixing it up. |

The 'core' group just rally together and pawn the outsiders, then try to back door their target... or get some weak arsed player to throw the competition. I just don't understand why it's back. All it does is encourage big alliances and doesn't allow anyone to play the game on their own terms. I've just got everything crossed that they finish it soon - like, before jury starts, soon. If it's a permanent fixture on the show now, I won't be back next year. |

I would agree however Shelli and Clay's opposition to Da'vonne is very tenuously linked to "not trusting them". They were the ones who immediately jumped on her back over her walking around the house they threw the first stone but act like it was Da'vonne but as I said no surprise from Clay he isn't fond of Da'vonne.
Shelli is once again a moron who got hypotised by a semi-good looking guy and the hopes of getting giggy in the bedroom. Every damn year we have to put up with this, a woman who can't think of anything other than her sex life and does the bidding of her male master. I can't fathom how we'll ever get back to a BB6 or BB10 scenario where you have 2 rival factions going head to head week on week. Eventually on BB10 more than BB6 one did come out on top (Dan, Memphis, Keesha, Renny) but it was still more interesting than a season with 3 or 4 players and a ton of pawns who'll flip from left to right week in week out. I'm also sick a tired of "throwing" competitions, how stupid are you to throw something when you're on the line. At least when Dan was doing it it was to take the threat off his back by portraying himself as weak but then could pull out wins when he needed them. We need rid of the BOB it encourages them to nominate weak players and leads to an inevitable backdoor scenario which people always see coming. It would be far more interesting given the sheer number of housemates to see who'd be nominated if there was only the one HOH and the week worked normally. |
