Danny was talking to Cristian about Jasmine and if he'd want to see her when he gets out , and Danny said , she's hot, so Cristian should go for it , or wtte , then Danny said to Cristian "you've got to beat it to delete it "

I don't like Danny, and if he seriously said that , which sounded like a derogatory comment , referring to bedding her - how can anyone seriously like this **** ?

This was shown Saturday nights HL , I had to go back to it to see if I heard correctly.

I thought I caught 'beat it then delete it'.

Either way, what charming fellas those types are

Assuming you heard it correctly, what does it even mean?

Or are you just assuming it's derogatory because you don't know what it means (or if he even said it)?

I typed in the phrase on Google to see what it meant and it's just coming up with lyrics to Michael Jackson's "Beat It" not a clue what it means, though knowing Danny it probably mean sleep with her then chuck her.

He can't string a sentence together so hard to tell among the swearing.

So ....yeah could have been but the meaning is the same =, bed her and tick that box that he's "had" her -

he's a slimey barsteward, revolting weasal.

And this from a guy whose dated Amy Child's and ex BB housemates , trashy dim women.

he said it ...go listen back.
Is there another way of translating that comment ?

We're not so stupid that we can't understand such base banter from a geezer like dimwit -Danny

Cristian must be realizing by now what an idiot Danny is.

I'm guessing it means something along the lines of have a good time with her then move on.

Nice.

That's exactly what it sounded like he meant in context of Danny talking about Jasmine being hot and him telling Cristian not to pass up the chance to go with Jasmine.

Dannys 29 fgs , he speaks like he's an 18 year old.

"You've got to beat it to delete it" makes no sense to me. And since I've never heard the phrase I'm not going to assume anything.

Danny's a bit of a nob, for sure, and you could take that as evidence that it was a less than complimentary thing to say. However, assuming that he meant it in a bad way you can't then allow that to further lower your opinion of him. It's illogical, and self-deceiving.

Are you assuming that because he's an assh*le though? Or is he an assh*le for saying that? It ought to be one or the other, but not both.

Another variant of "f*ck n chuck" and "hump n dump"

It means have a wank to get her out of his head?

I agree

For a man of nearly 30 to be speaking about women in those terms is quite revolting

Yeah it was beat it then delete it. He passed it off as a joke 'apparently'. He meant 'to bang Jasmine once then he can choose to forget about her'. But he cant just forget about her because she is in Dannys own words 'hot'. It would be a wasted opportunity for Chriitian not to experience having sex with hot girls like Jasmine. This is what Danny thinks not me.

True but he does hang around with the reality TV lads and they're not mature either.

Of course it can be both.

Since you're asking (I know not why!) though, it's neither

It's obvious what the phrase means by the context, isn't it? It's a lowlife comment imo - that doesn't mean I'm saying he's a lowlife or that I think he's a lowlife because of the comment. Wakaru? (You probably don't know that word but if you don't try working it out from context - it's a useful skill to have!)

By the way your second paragraph of the previous post also doesn't make sense.

Nope because he immediately said before Christian should go for it with the super hot older gal who was throwing herself at him, basically. He wasn't talking about a 'one man job'!

Guess that's what Danny does

And probably is why he's still single at 29 - he may be a known asshole.

Sarah must be so relieved she's seen this guys true colours

I think after the show Jasmine, Sarah or Aisleyne should seduce Danny and bring a hammer and a blindfold. Lets see if he's laughing when they beat it and delete it.

Atleast it reminds you pigs like him still exist...he even had the nerve to tweet that cami lis vag smelt like fish cakes! Jeez what a charmer!

What I meant is that if we're all just guessing about the meaning we might make an assumption based on what we think about Danny, but having made our assumption we ought not to use it to inform our opinion of Danny. Obviously if you know what it means, having heard the phrase before and you're certain that Danny used that phrase, then it can be both. When a known assh*le says something nasty it should reinforce your opinion of him. Better?

I've no idea what 'wakaru' means. Nor do I see how making blind assumptions can be a useful skill.

Better? Nope! That's one phrase you don't need to have an enigma machine to understand given the conversation, context, and some idea of the general derogatory phrases some of these lot use (though they do constantly surprise me!). Maybe you're missing the latter, or are less lateral thinking than some? - if so fair enough

It can be both for me, or neither, despite never having heard it before.

'Wakaru' is casual Japanese and means 'understand?'. More like 'get it?' perhaps, but it doesn't matter how fully or politely you translate it if you get the gist. Perhaps that was unfair of me, particularly given that you don't!

Is it a euphemism which means to have sex with a girl and then dump them?

What Danny said is hardly a cause for great disgust. People have become so sensitive regarding certain subject matters that they do not look at things for what they are: Jasmin is 9 years his senior and is more likely than not looking at an opportunity for more time in the limelight.

Christian is not going to get a meaningful relationship out of her so his friend advising him to keep it simple is hardly a problem.

People need to get over themselves with the running to the aid of women who show less respect for themselves than the people making crass comments.

I don't like Danny but I will never sign to the belief that it is a great wrong to say such things. If a woman doesn't want to get involved in such a relationship, they are easy enough to avoid: hold off on getting physical with the individual, take time getting to know them.
