and yet she's a TERRIBLE BB housemate! I feel for her because I believe she is genuinely a sunny natured, nice person but she is just so annoying in that environment. It's weird.

She managed to last though.

I do hope that the two unoriginals are in the final, just to see the originals faces.

You are spot on.

I could imagine her on Loose Women actually... (not that I watch that rubbish *hides*)

But I don't know what they were thinking putting her in the house?!!

Mixed feelings about Sam. I do appreciate her upbeat, cheery disposition. But then... I dunno, something just feels a little off about her? Overall though, I'm fine with her. I don't have any major issues.

She is nice, but she can be too nice sometimes.

Last night's HLs were just a case in point.

Joel is the first to nominate & predictably, he takes the easy & safe option of Sam & she just says, "it's all right babes"!

Then she presses the red button, even though she didn't need to & then gets in a tizz about nominating & is all apologetic about nominating Jack, despite all the horrible things he's said about her previously.

I would have just like to have seen her sock to them a little bit.

She doesn't have to be a nasty Helen Wood type, a thuggish & aggressive Danny Wisker type, or an Angry Knickers Harry style rant, but just a little bit more assertiveness to go with the niceness.

She is very upbeat but doesn't seem to be aware of her stance with others. She needs to be more astute. She thinks by being nice to the 'originals' she'll be liked, she isn't. I was embarrassed for her when she said about the cuddles from Jack, he hates her! How can you not be even slightly aware of that?

Absolutely spot on.

I wanted to 'do a Danny' last night when she all apologetic nominating Jack.

Jack can't stand her & doesn't hide the fact, yet she's all nicey nicey to him.

She does have a lovely personality, and she's someone I'd like to be around.

But sometimes I suspect her non-confrontational sunny disposition hides ulterior motives.

For instance, she coldly threw Marc under the bus in countless friendly chats, when he was in the secret room, so as to win new friends. Then, as soon as he came back in, furious with her, she won him right back into her camp with some immensely exaggerated fawning.

With regards to pressing the button, if you look past her silky smooth sweet words about caring for Jack, but needing to protect the pot, isn't it more likely that she simply realised her own chances of survival were higher if Jack was nominated than if Chloe was nominated lol?

What I am saying is that she may come across all friendly poodle, but she's got a hidden bite.

I like her coir dress with welcome written on it, they need to drop a 10 tonne weight on her head next time she apologises absolutely no reason, she's nice though and her facial expressions are brilliant

I don't get why the crowd boo her on Fridays though?

I know their default noise is "boo" but still...

I liked her when they all went in - my favourite of the 4. But she hasn't developed as a character since imo. And the way she gapes, open-mouthed EVERY time there is a twist, or shock announcement is sending me doolally.
Nice girl, terrible housemate.

People enjoy "hating" I think. It's like a release, all the anger and frustration they feel, they can channel toward someone else, thereby venting, getting a chance to blow off steam. Personally I find the whole mob mentality disturbing and would rather go running or do yoga or something instead.

I couldn't stand Sam for a while, but recently I've warmed to her, and I have no idea why!

I don't get it either.

She is the HM that should be least booed, that's assuming there is a need to boo any of them in the first place.

I like Sam I feel sorry for her because the clique have given her a hard time and never accepted her as a proper HM because she was not one of the originals they have nominated her every week, oh how I wish she could win I would be okay with that, to see their faces would be priceless, if they want a nice genuine fun loving girl to win Sam fits the bill so much more than Chloe,I hope Scotland backs her all the way

I actually hope you're right. Would love to see her get her claws out

In fact, you're quite right.

I also think it would be hilarious if she won too.

Their faces, especially Jack's would be priceless.

She's been a safe & easy nomination for weeks & every time to the public haven't evicted her & it would be the ultimate slap in the face if they voted her the winner.

It IS weird! I think her determination to always be upbeat and look on the bright side, despite the really begrudging way she's treated in there, is stopping her from revealing a fully rounded personality. It makes her come across as a bit one-dimensional, almost robotic at times.... like when the series ends, rather than walking out of the house, she'll be deflated, folded into a box and stuck on a shelf in the props room until the next time BB needs a 'Sunny Sam'.

Nevertheless, as others have said above, I'd love to see her (and Harry) as the final two, just to shove it firmly up the other HMs.

I lol'ed at that. She did come out of her box briefly when she said something to Nikki and retreated right back and apologised for it. She's insipid and a crowd pleaser, not bad traits but when the crowd aren't buying it, it's time to stick two fingers up to them and move on. She should have made more of an effort with Harry instead of crawling all over the 'originals'.

I can not stand the way she always has her mouth wide open in supposed shock, who the hell does that in real life, it's like a bloody cartoon character.

I don't think we've seen her personality at all so not sure where this comment has come from, we have seen her tailor herself to please whoever she's trying to suck up to.

No one has seen the real Sam, we've just seen a front.

I think we have all become so cynical when it comes to reality contestants that we find it hard to appreciate a genuinely, sweet-natured lady like Sam without thinking she must be fake, two-faced, etc.

Sam seems very sly and shifty to me.

In this video she is clearly lying: http://bigbrother.channel5.com/day-5...ret-about-marc

I feel she's insincere, who in their right mind would enjoy being called a cum bucket, or enjoy being nominated? Not ever expressing a feeling or thought that these things upset her make her look dishonest.
