A genuine question for Danny fans:

what is it you like in this guy?
I made this tread to understand people's view.

His fans have spoken.....

No one wants to own up to it but I will hazzard a guess. I am not a Danny fan but he has on occasion impressed me with his sense of fairplay, rationality and that he hasn't been afraid to speak out when others have. With Danny though, much like Marc with Helen, a trashy bird was his downfall

I don't think Danny is half as bad as he has been portrayed on here. I don't give a stuff what he has (allegedly) done on the outside or who he has tweeted what. In the house I've found him perfectly okay. A bit of a short fuse at time but tbf Marc (by his own admission) did love to wind him up. I do think he has a sense of fairness and maybe he is desperate to win but who cares. I wanted him to win for about a week but all in all, I think he's okay but just a bit meh. I would definitely though rather he won than that awful spoiled little brat, Chloe!

I like him because he is fake, arrogant and domineering. And the other housemates kiss his backside because they're spineless children. It's fantastic.

Helen won last year for being boring and aggressive. Danny is boring and aggressive.

Clearly there is an appetite within the BB viewership for this type of housemate.

I also like him because of his pitiful inarticulacy, repellent voice, and inability to spell simple 5 letter words. Makes me feel superior, and better about my life.

I like danny from the off. Within 5 mins of mark being in the house he was nasty to chloe and danny stuck up for her. Dont tell me anyone can b fake for that length of time. I dont care about the tweets. The same as i dont care about marcs tweets. I like danny. He wants fair play and that is my opinion

I don't think I can remember anyone who got in people's faces quite as often as Danny. We see people abuse each other all the time but Danny for some reason likes to get within one inch of someone's face. Maybe he's trying to intimidate them but I don't think i've seen anything like it before. I don't see why he needs to get so close to someone's face. He can make his point perfectly clear from a reasonable distance.

I think it's mainly the TOWIE brigade who like Danny i.e. teenage girls. He also has a lot of support on twitter from the z-listers.

My opinion he was decent until the last couple of weeks. As you say he was the thing's you mention.
He seemed to crack under the pressure over recent times. He has been a tw** at times. I wouldn't say he is total tw** full stop though. Those attributes you mentioned I doubt he could of totally faked those for the first 5 weeks. It's to long.
Harry and Jack are now the only ones I want to actually win though.

I think it's very unfair how he's being judged about his past on twitter etc. surely the point of the show is to judge the housemates purely in the house, no?

I mean he hasn't been a great HM but I think purely on what he's done in the house one of the top 3.

Here we go with the whole "it's the teenage girls" again. Also, i can't stand TOWIE, but i don't think Danny is as bad as people on here make out. The dislike for him on here is ridiculously over the top. The way people talk about him you would think he has done something really bad.

He has been very aggressive towards Marc. He's threatened to glass him and has bawled within one inch of his face on several occasions. He has a real temper on him. Then you consider all the trolling tweets he's made. I don't think he's a particularly nice person.

still do not understand that somebody likes the guy but i respect everybody his or her opinion.
How i see him:
Agressive
not intelligent
short fuse
wants to be the alpha male

but that is just my opnion

He stood up to the 2 main bullies who thought they were gods gift to BB fans, this puts him in a good light for me. He didnt get angry because someone bobbed their tongue out to him, he got angry for the constant goading of Hellen and Marc calling his mate a coke head, Brian a rapist and others a FBucket/fat etc, he got his buttons pressed by Marc who was forever trying to portray everyone in a bad light apart from himself, so I would even debate that he was a hot tempered person but rather quite justified in his rants.

And this is the classic bitter fan excuse.

It may be that some of those who profess support for Danny don't actually find him that 'likeable' themselves

Maybe he garnered support on the strength of being the 'anti Marc' candidate, rather than for his own sake
