Looking at the table, the show has done well to maintain constant ratings after a low start.

I loved Marc while he was there, but last nights was a bloody brilliant episode... and Marc wasn't in it.

So regardless of ratings, the show can survive without him.

Yeah, you for one! First of all dismissing the figures outright as a fix and open to corruption when they went against your preference and then holding them as sacrosanct and beyond censure when the mistake was pointed out. LOL

It all felt a bit "forced" even when they try to have fun, I find them dull.

Just for the record I have no faith in ratings whatsoever and to say they are down on last week's when all that it works out at is approx 67 (ish) less BARB viewers this week than last week.
