He nominated her first without hesitation in the timebomb task and chose to destroy her letter tonight, yet Sam doesn't kick up any fuss and handles it all with dignity. Even after that, she was genuinely thrilled that Cristian got his letter while the likes of Jack were moping about.

I think they have all been harsh to her in a way. She hasn't got a thing that has gone her way since she went in there.

I've always quite liked Sam. She seems, above all else, to be a good soul. She hasn't had an easy time of it in there.

I expected him to pick her, but I at least expected him to show a bit of remorse about it. Chloe was extremely apologetic and reassuring towards him, and Harry was totally distraught about destroying Jack's, yet Joel... Nothing. Not an apology, not a kind word, just "I'm going to do this logically." Clinical and unsympathetic.

Conversely, she's a sweetheart. Perhaps a little too nice at times, but I'm glad she's a decent person, and I'd be happy to see her win.

Not really, he gets on with her the least and out of the 3 options he made the right pick to destroy hers. Doesnt mean he treats her horribly, from the twitter feeds they seem to get on.

Agree 100%. People say she shouldn't win because "she's done nothing in the house". Well,this IS doing something, and it's doing something decent and human, and for that she should win!

I actually want Sam to win too, she just seems OK, bit harmless, bit over the top sometimes, BUT she seems to want to have a laugh, and that's what we need on BB... FUN / smiles / laughter

I don't have any qualms with his decision; like he said, it was the logical decision since it was clear she'd take it the best. However, it was his delivery that was distasteful - he completely lacked any tact, and his reasoning was a bit iffy considering she's arguably had a tougher experience in there than the rest. It seems to be a recurring theme with him in regards to Sam; she's his scapegoat with just about everything.

I meant if it was between Cristian, Harry and Sam, I think pretty much everyone would of made the same call. I dont think he meant to be cold about it, he just saw it as a task and tried not to get emotional. And in all fairness it's not like he was swanning round with a letter, he didn't get his either!

Yes I agree. I don't want her to win, not sure she's shown us (in a 45 min highlight show at least) enough to win, but I certainly think they've been hard on her and she's taken the brunt of being one of the newbies ... I know Harry's a newbie, but it's easy to forget that as she was accepted into the fold.


I didn't see him not trying to be emotional - I've never seen him be emotional about anything, he's rather robotic in manner.
