It wouldn't have been just him, most of them wanted to get to the button first because Sam was the easy option.
She is a pushover and is coasting along without rocking the boat or making her own opinions.
His nomination of her was fair enough - he hasn't really spoken to her that much and that's fine. She is an easy target, which is unfortunate, but at this point we are going to have flimsy reasons for nominations and she isn't one of Joel's favourites. That doesn't make him "part of the clique".
His reasons for eating her letter made sense. Harry was having a tough time, Cristian had been in there longer than her. She deserved it least.

How do you work that out? Have they ever asked her what she needs or how she feels. The only reason they could give that Harry needed her letter more is that in their eyes Sam is so much less important and what she feels doesn't matter.

She and Chloe seem to be good pals. They are often seen sitting together and Sam was adamant that she would not nominate Chloe.

Its up there with "on a journey" and "i'm just being honest"
Sam has been treated like crap all series. Mainly for association with Marc and her calm and positive attitude. They treat her like crap but she stills walks around with a smile.
Maybe he is still pissed with her for exposing him pissing in the sink? If sam had never been mentioned it, we would never of found that out.

Doubt it.
Shockingly sometimes people just do not connect. I'm not sure if I would connect with Sam either; I don't know where she stands on any subject as she seems to continually follow the crowd on any issue. She turned on Marc not once but twice after the left the House saying how much better it would be for her now. To me she has no depth and lacks individual thought. I can understand and emphasise with those who struggle to connect with her.
