I disliked Marc but he is not as clever as everybody thinks as he basically hid the HM's true colours, if only he had stepped back and let us see what they are really like, I suspect he would still be in the house. The problem was that all HM's seemed to focus on Marc and his so called banter which took away from the HM true selves.
For instance since Marc has left the two people I liked are starting to annoy me:

Chloe - really liked her but now find her very argumentative and coming across as desperate to win
Danny - Liked him but started to question him when I saw the recent VT when he said he did not know what the word genuine means, yet ended the statement saying Jack could be seen as un-genuine????? If he does not know what genuine means how the hell would he know un-genuine fgs.
Joel - coming across a bit of a liar and desperate.
Nick - far to desperate to win and trying to come across as nice when you can see he is actually annoyed but won't say anything.

And the ones I disliked:

Jack - well he seems to be the one who is more honest than the rest of them at the moment.
Christian - Thought he was quite childish but he seems to have matured pretty quickly.
Harry - well I still dislike her.

No he didn't, he actually told you what they were all like, you just chose not to believe him. Now he's gone, and you've stopped fixating on him, you're starting to see what he was actually saying is true, you just don't want to admit he did because of your dislike of him.

hhhmmm I don't know if it was Marcs fault that peoples "true Colours" were hidden. personally I think this whole cashbomb section is more to blame and it's showing up the ones that are desperate for the win and the cash

I get that some people don't like Marc but this is a bit of a stretch even for here, no?

Basically you're blaming Marc for your personal inability to form accurate judgements on the other HM's because in your opinion, he being himself, 'hid' this from you.

That's on you, not him, surely.

For me, the characters of most of them are pretty easy to work out, pretty early on. It was fairly clear what most of them were like well before Big Marc even set foot in the house.

I think maybe people justified their behaviours before because they thought it was a reaction to Marcs behaviours?

It's a combination of the Cash Bomb task, the fact BB has stopped adding extra outsiders for the original HM's to pick on, and the fact Marc the common enemy has gone. In my opinion!

The reason they're all 'showing their true colours' is because of Cashbomb, nothing more, nothing less, and nothing whatsoever to do with anything Marc did or could have done.

Why not just enjoy watching them all implode? It's hilarious!

Exactly.

There was also a false camaraderie while Marc was there.......nothing unites like a common enemy.

Have to agree, did anyone really need Marc to tell you what was already apparent....is anyone seriously surprised at any one of the HM's reaction as soon as money is involved

They must really miss Mark because he was the main focus of all the trouble and discord(Danny won't know what this means) and omg they is more trouble than anything Mark caused in there so take a look in the mirror HM and see who the trouble makers are.

No it is not on me at all, I only started watching about 10 days or so ago so did not know any of them well, I did not know the originals either. What I said if you re read that for me Marc hid the HM's true selves and this was based on the little I have seen. With Marc gone I see them more clearly and yes Marc was right, still didn't like him though.

Blimey, all these "true colours" flying around - the place will be looking like a Dulux advert.

Well, um yeah. He'd also watched them for two weeks before he went in and then a weekend of live feed in the bunker so it's not like he didn't have them at a disadvantage. It wasn't like he'd some hunch or insight about them from being among them from the beginning and seeing them develop, and I still think some genuine friendships or connections were made within the clique that Marc identified. Just like Helen's lot bonded and went away on holiday together last year, I can't remember them getting labelled as the get-along-gang/teletubbies/care bears etc.

I still think they'd be reacting pretty much the same over the cashbomb had Marc been there or not.

Cyndi Lauper should be piped in to the house.

marc was so self absorbed, he didnt understand anything in the hosue. He stifled and suppressed anyone's True reactions. he shouted at them, leaned towards them intimidatingly. People who would say something , chose not to cause marc would attack them verbally.

this Suppressed and over shadowed everyone in the house. Cristian's money hungry trait is now coming forward, Chloe's sharp tongue is back, Harry aint taking any more Sh*t from others, Danny is sliding back into 'bland neutral dimwit '. Jack i'm not sure of but if his red face iseems to be a sign of high blood pressure due to obesity and stress.

Um, where exactly have we seen Cristian's "money hungry trait?"

Personally I found he did a very good job of bring them all out. It took Danny all of a few minutes upon Marc's entrance ... quickly followed by them all. But that's just my opinion

I like to think he lit the match and now they are all truly exploding all over the place.

My view is. The way Marc went about thing's in the house the antagonizing ways e.t.c. All that did was give a false view of the other housemates 'true colours'.
Because lets face it , with most people if they are antagonized/goaded again and again it will annoy the fu** out of most people. What was wrong with leaving people be sooner or later any 'fakeness' would of happened anyway.

Now what you see in the house developing since Marc was evicted is actually their 'true colours'... because now they feel more at ease to be them self...
Goading , pestering , invading personal space...
None of that truly reveals a persons true colours because as I said most people would end up getting really fu**** off by all of that. It's natural that you would.

And what Marc did often turning the spot light on the other housemates. If any thing it was just a clever way of turning the spot light away from himself.
Obviously a fair amount of the public saw this and is probably one of the reasons he was evicted.

A brilliant spot on post - ignored, of course, by the usual suspects who are uncomfortable with the brilliant truth of this.

OP - what you've written about Choe, Jack, Danny etc. is what many of us - those of us not BLINDED by our feelings towards Marc - have been saying on here for weeks; from the very beginning.

Marc told us but, we never got to see it as he wanted (and got) all the attention on him.
