With Marc gone, the other HM's aren't looking so great anymore
Marc was the undisputed villain of the house, and rightly so. Love him or hate him he was the main antagonist and by comparison, the other HM's seemed to be all sweetness and light (slight over exaggeration but you get my point)
But now, with public enemy number one out of the picture, and the others getting a lot more air time, oh dear, they aren't coming across very well at all. There is no one to play hero against, no one with whom they can portray themselves as the victim against. Their story lines have crumbled and the parts the HM's were playing around Marc are falling apart. In saying all of that, I must say I'm thrilled that the house hasn't turned into a boring love fest. I just really thought I'd like the others the more I saw of them..................which I dont |

A lot of them hid behind Marc.
He was the baddie as you say but now they have to turn on eachother. Chloe is the biggest loser with Marc leaving. |

LOL you really didn't believe Marc when he told you the rest of them were like this did you. .
Anyhoo, I was just voicing an observation that the other HM's now look like d*cks for turning on each other now that their collective arch nemesis is gone. Im a Marc fan and wish he was still in, but super delighted his absence is showing the other up for what they really are. |

I could only base my opinions from what I was shown in each episode. Marc's opinions about the other HM's were his opinions and his only. I form my own.

I think you are giving Marc too much credit - it's not his absence which is showing them up, but the Cashbomb task. Money, essentially, is bringing it all to a head, not Marc's absence.

LOL you really didn't believe Marc when he told you the rest of them were like this did you. Just about everything he said about them in the house has been proved to be true, it's just that some were too focussed on being the moral majority with the language he used to actually listen to what he was saying. He wound them up to get them to show their real selves , a lot of us noticed, and a lot didn't. Most of Marc's fans were well aware that he was a WUM, but we also noticed that it wasn't malicious, we got him, Jade, Joel and Sam got him, even Jack and Aisleyne got him in the end. He was slightly wrong on Danny and Chloe being basically sound tho, as they were careful to hide the fact that they were forever plotting behind his back, we saw it on the show but he didn't. He's seen it since he got out and watched some of the Highlights shows back though.

I am glad Marc's gone, precisely because there's no more excuses for Team Clique. No one left for them to offload the blame for their dodgy personalities.

A bit of both perhaps?
So no, I think the task is bringing out these characteristics in the remaining housemates, not the fact that Marc isn't in there. If Marc were there during this task he'd be continuing to goad and pick at the others, Danny would continue to fight with him and it'd be the same-old same-old, with the rest of them cowering in the background to avoid attracting his attentions. It'd be wash, rinse and repeat. At least now we are seeing something from all of them, they are all in the game now. |

I'm in the bit of both camp. The task and the end in sight is making them all come out of their rabbit holes, and Marc being there wouldn't have made that much difference. On the other hand they don't have a common enemy anymore to keep up the semblance of unity. They don't have to be the Teletubbies running away from NooNoo Marc (Marc calls them that) so his absence has made a difference in that respect. |

A scientific agent? Someone from Imperial College, MIT or CalTech? |

And another point. By Marc often turning the spot light on the other housemates. It was just a clever way of turning the spot light away from himself. Obviously a fair amount of the public saw this and is probably one of the reasons he was evicted. |

I wouldn't blame him either. Hope he's not signed up to the same one as famewhore Danny. That nightclub PA circuit is gonna be buzzing

What pissed me off about marc is he constantly played the victim in situations, there are real life victims in this world and he doesn't even come close. I thought he was attention seeking, childish, misogynistic and downright rude to people, yet people were amused by his antics. Completely despair.

I think what slavemario is saying is that if Marc was still there we wouldn't see it because things would still be twisted to make Marc appear to be the baddie and we still wouldn't have seen things how they are. Because whatever they do, cashbomb twist or not, Marc would still somehow be made to appear worse than them.
All Marc has to do is not be there for us to see things as they are.

If he can make a few £100k out of a few venues, before going to the USA - who wouldn't. He'd be nutz to turn down easy money.
![]() Personally I would find it odd indeed if they weren't now concentrating on trying to win the money, and as much of it as possible.
