She had a lot of balls i say. She always said to Marc when she felt he was out of line with his banter and stuck by him til the end. She also chose to forgive and not hold a grudge when people treated her badly. She tries to see the best in all the housemates. She nominated the person she wanted ans was not influenced. She has her own mind and chosen to see light over doom and gloom. She would be the one i would want on my side as a friend in there. Marc was very lucky to have her he really was.

Agreed...and would it just now show everyone that a person who comes in later can actually win! ? I don't think that has happened before....

I like Sam much more than I like the others I would love to see her win could you imagine their faces,Chloe would say, she has taken Dannys money or hers as she thinks it will be her or Danny who are the most deserving,I say too she wont win but if we pick up the phone and vote she can win and that is what I am going to do,if she makes the final and I really hope she does her odds will shorten in the last week, thats when people start betting on a decent odds ,I have said it in other threads I hope Scotland backs her and votes for her to win

Brian Belo won Big Brother 8 after joining late.

I would be very amused and happy for her if she won.

She wouldn't be the best winner ever, but look at the choices we have left this year.
It would be somehow symbolic of this year's Big Brother that viewers thought that much of it they voted Sam to win.

As it goes I think that she is a genuinely nice girl, and they treat her like crap in there. They underestimate her, don't consider her, oh how I'd love it if she beat them all.

Can you imagine the final when the clique are taking turns to leave the house and are absolutely stunned to see Sam as the last housemate standing.
I'd absolutely love that and it would make the final worth watching.

It could actually happen too if there's enough of an anti vote in her favour combined with actual fans.

I have serious issues with Sam which cloud my judgement of her as a Housemate - she isn't an individual; she constantly follows who she thinks is the strongest and jumps ship at the first opportunity (see her scurrying away from any friendship Marc not once but twice). She lacks depth of character and the House would be no different if she's in there or not. Whilst I understand the desire not to have a winner like Marc I think someone like Sam winning would undermine the show even further; as Rachel Rice showed you can win being nice while showing a backbone. Sam has not done this for me, even though others may disagree.

I like Sam she's harmless and always likes to maintain positive. It's a shame she's the first to be dimissed because she came in late and doesn't have a meltdown when things don't go her way.

It also annoys me when they complain about her 'fence sitting' or not having an opinion. Do these self obsessed morons not think maybe she just doesn't give a crap about their drama?

I can't see it... She's not done a lot.

I understand and agree with you to a certain extent, but, as you said, if she doesn't give a crap about them and their dramas (either agreeing or disagreeing with them) then why would you expect them to give a crap about her?

She's put up with them all treating her like something they brought in on the sole of their shoes which really should be enough. Jack is the worst offender. I mean what has she done to him (other than be nice to him) to make him treat her the way he does and to say he hates her!

Can you imagine the fall out if a non-original HM won. I don't recall a set of HMs being so blatantly entitled as this lot towards newcomers.

Exactly. If she forgets they exist they'll do the same back to her.

When's she ever been nice to Jack? She gobbed off at him on her first week (egged by Marc). I don't think they hate each other, and no I don't support Jack ranting at her, but she's never bothered to talk to him herself (from what WE have been allowed to see, anyway.)

Chloe is good friends with her though.

I'd say that she's allowed them to treat her like that personally. She's a nice girl but she's a people pleaser and says what the person she perceives the most popular one at any time, wants her to say. She's not my kind of winning material, although I have to agree that her winning would be a delicious smack in the teeth to the rest that are left.

I couldn't stomach her winning. I find her calculating, sly and self-serving - all while pretending she's a people pleaser just to keep the house on side.
I don't believe she's a people pleaser for one minute. The only person she's interested in pleasing is herself.

I just know she's gonna turn up as a presenter of some afternoon show. Probably debating with the grannies on the merits of using two or three ply-wool for bedsocks. Lets hope she doesn't choke on one.

I agree with OP, and I actually really like Sam, not sure why she's been booed. She's my favourite at the moment

You're probably right. What I would love is for them to dismiss or ignore her or talk down to her one time too many and she turns round and yells at them "You know what just f**k off the lot of you you're a shower of a******es". I can imagine their response "What? What have we done wrong. We've always been nice to Sam"

The thing with the letters when it was so obvious she wasn't going to get her letter. It's like they say "Oh it's only Sam she won;t mind and anyway even if she does who cares" She's not been a great housemate but the fact that she's kept smiling all the way despite being treated like a second class citizen makes me think maybe she deserves the win most. She and Cristian (to a lesser extent) seem to be the scapegoats in that house.”

I agree except the bit about Christian, cannot believe he is still in there His voice is very fake and his very brief showmance was nauseous!

With charismatic housemates gone, we've only likeability left. Sam COULD actually do this.
