It baffles me too. However i do understand it to a certain extent now (i didn't understand it in the slightest, but im starting to now). See, thousands and thousands of viewers/voters watch the HL show every night only. They don;t follow BB on forums, they don;t bother with Twitter and Facebook, they don;t read the Daily Star headlines (wise), they don't even watch BOTS. They merely watch BB of a night, turn off and think nothing more about it. They also don't pay close attention, and/or remember much about previous HL shows. So they simply vote on what they see and how they interpret it. Danny probably does look like a 'normal, genuine down to earth bloke' who 'sticks up what for he thinks is right' etc to a throwaway viewer. And they make up a massive chunk of the voting base. It's a shame, but it's always been like that.

I thought he had an attractive smile at first but his personality leaves a lot to be desired. Jack is a far more honest and a straight person who Danny seems to like.
Don't like all that scraggy beard. It needs trimming, growing or shaping. Just looks a mess.

There isn't a clearcut Danny alternative.

HaloJoe is spot on - almost no one seemed to Marc jiggling his fat bottom at Helen, as it was in a Sat night HLs and continued to bicker about his bum. (It's on an hour later here, so I tend to see it when everyone else is still out go having fun)
