Happy ending for Henry the cat

Thought you pet people might like the story.

http://globalnews.ca/news/2094427/he...is-new-family/

They found a badly injured kitten on the side of the highway and took it to the animal shelter. They had to amputate one of Henry's front legs as they could not mend it, but the family who rescued him has now adopted him.

With the news coverage the story got, Apparently there were hundreds of requests to adopt the little guy, but I hope many of them will still be interested in rescuing a pet from the shelter, and not just interested because the cat was famous.

So cute: http://storage.edmontonsun.com/v1/dy...y=80&size=650x

Lovely little cat, I'm pleased that they rescued him from the side of the road and didn't just drive past like a lot of people would.

Going to a home where they already have a couple of cat's aswell.

What a beautiful little cat. I hope he now has a long and very happy life.

On a separate note what a strange looking water feature the family who adopted him have in their house.

I think the video was taken at the animal shelter. If you look to the left behind the dad, it looks like little kennels, and there's also an inscription on the top of the water feature.

Oh, my mistake, yes, see what you mean. I didn't notice them particularly on first viewing. I glanced and thought they were kitchen cabinets or something, I was fixated on Henry though.

Nice story though, especially with such a hopefully happy ending.
