Exactly, its illogical to vote out the entertainment out of an ENTERTAINMENT show. Vote to evict is no excuse, the majority choose to pick up the phone & do this. Even on IMAC we see bores coastin to the final. This generation have become so needy & generic its ridiculous.

Maybe people didn't find Marc that entertaining.

He was popular and lost. That's the whole point.

I think that's a little presumptive, with several up vote-to-evict will always get rid of a marmite character even if their supporters outnumber their detractors.

I think He showed incredible extremes.

Pick ya poison. In the end he only appealed to a niche audience. I found him endearing once or twice though.”

id rather be niche than a pea brained bore .I imagine these same cretins hated rex victor marcus anyone with a bit of edge and individuality.eejits.

I think this weeks shows thus far, have been the best of the whole series. So Marc's departure hasn't done much damage at all?...

I missed him last night during the letter reading

When you average out the tastes of such a varied demographic as the viewing public, it usually equates to a safer, more vanilla choice winning in the end.

And no, I can't explain Helen winning last year. I can only put it down to being an anomalous result.

How would we know? Between Mark and 'the legends', no-one else got much airtime.

Will someone please pick all these toys up? They're becoming a health and safety hazard round here

Maybe they should have been interesting enough to warrant getting air time in the first place? I doubt Channel 5 decide to show all the dull bits instead of the exciting ones. If you're doing something of interest, then they're more likely to air it. If you're a bore, then you won't be shown.

Fair enough but can you picture a house full of Rex, Victor's and Marc's.

A. It sounds just like Geordie shore
B. It would be as niche as Geordie shore.

If you want the big extreme characters in BB they should be sparse. You get what you enjoy and so does the mainstream viewer. I bet the average age of viewer on BB is older than on Geordie shore, and that means more viewers and survival for the show imo.

John Major after winning the '92 election said "The public are too stupid by two thirds". He was right.

Apparently with a vocal minority, but clearly not enough to sway the majority view that he was wrecking rather than making the entertainment.
He was like a firework, undoubtedly entertaining and eyebrow-raising with the whoosh!!! to start with and then the bang-bang-bang became tedious rather than entertaining. Teaming up with Helen didn't help. Like all fireworks there was one final flash and then he was gone.

Men and Marc fans weren't barred from voting for this or any other reality programme. They are not restricted just to going 'wah, wah, wah' because there's a result they didn't like.

Teenage girls don't all think the same, just like any other demographic.”

Where is the compulsory sexism \/ \/ \/

Marc was popular with a majority judging by the polls and betting. Surely everyone knows by now the vagaries of voting particularly Vote to Evict. Marc was a victim of that basically. Anyway at least now he has gone we can fully witness exactly how awful the other HMs actually are

Yet not a single 1 will be remembered. Marc will go down as 1 of the best hms we've ever had.

It's only more interesting because of the money task, if they had been left to their own devices it would be a bunch of beige people sitting around all day, with no insentive to do squat.

Marc was the glue that bonded some of them together in their mutual dislike of him, since he has gone they are unravelling.

I was not a Marc fan, but l could see he bought value to the show.

Yes, people who say it's better this week because Marc has gone are those who are so blinded by their own opinion to ever admit they are wrong.

The task would have been explosive with or without him, it's more explosive without hi simply because they don't have a common target but if he was there it would have also been explosive because he would be involved in the money going down although he would get all the blame.

You will see the impact of his loss when this task is over and they are back to having to entertain the public, the guy who handles the twitter live account is struggling for content that's for sure.

Going by last night's programme, I assume that is how they would have been anyway. Can't say I have missed Mark or Helen or any of the others tbh - all the behaviour is much of a muchness: arguing.

In view of the fact that the public are moronic sheep perhaps next time BB does a 4out/4in swap they evict the ones that the public don't vote to evict. That way the dross that are in there now would have gone and the fiery twins, hot-headed Harriet and Sassy Sarah would perhaps still be there. Kieran was the only dead-wood to go.

It annoys me how they all ostracized Marc yet they're still in. How is a dirtbag like Danny fave to win over Marc?. Danny is borin, an asshole & a fraud. Marc was some1 we could all relate to, he was a voice of a nation.
