I think he probably meant that as one of his grand parents is Indian and therefore a parent is half Indian that maybe he grew up in a household where perhaps his granny and then his mum cooked lots of Indian food and he was used to hot spicy food.
I don't get how that was so funny tbh..yes, he is quarter Indian and yes, he probably has tried a lot of spicy things, which is why he said it during the task. Lol

Turned out it was though
For some bizarre reason, when I was watching Jack and Chloe eating the scotch bonnets and the pain they were in, all I could hear, in my head, was Jasper Carrot's joke about (a similar situation) his a*se, the following morning, being like the map out of Bonanza

Okay.

OMG! He said he was a quarter Indian, which implied he would have no problem eating the hot chilli (because he was used to eating spicy food). So he ate the chilli with great confidence and then as it's power hit him, he realised that it was in fact a lot stronger than he'd imagined and that was what was funny. Got it?
