It didn't look like an accusation to me, which is what you are doing. It looked like an opinion to me, which I share . There are different levels of mental illness. I think what the OP was trying to say is that she needs help, more likely through therapy. She may already have had some. But the truth is she acts very disturbed. I don't think it's an act though.

She's jealous and possessive of Nick and is acting out. It's a shame she's doing all that on telly. She'll be embarrassed when she grows up.

What's the difference.. either way she is being diagnosed as mentally ill by someone who probably knows nothing about it. It is an opinion while also being an accusation.

It's really confusing g because I don't think it has been explained. She just avoids it and giggles and leaves others to fill in the blanks. She could have just said "my housemate is my best mate and I call her my wife as a joke ".

The letter was from her sister, she told Nick that when they were having a fag, i think she calls her best friend her wife because they are really close.

I remember Aaron sulking for days on end and he won his show. Many posters on here loved it.

I think initially Harry went over to stop Jack - she was trying to say remember that Chloe is supposed to be his friend (which she was saying whilst everyone else was wading in on her) Oh and Danny saying leave it - wow.

All the ensuing histrionics was her throwing the HMs own words back at them - I am constantly hearing from other HMs that she has issue. Plus, as someone earlier said, to shut them down.

Yeah obviously it is a mental illness. As I said if she does have any mental illness my opinion is it would be bipolar.

'Issues' could mean she has been diagnosed with something at some point. But she just doesn't want to say.

Its not ignorant in the slightest, just because you were not effected(glad to hear), doesn't change the fact many MANY people are. Dark things often happen with some kids growing up in care/rough families/people having kids for the wrong reasons(benefits maybe)...its just as simple as that. Its not like i made a sweeping comment about everyone in care being like this.

Anyway another poster has said she wasn't in care so just lack of parental guidance then perhaps, or simply mental illness...whatever the case may be she seems seriously damaged.

Oh I think she knows, but her feelings are the most important thing to her and she's hardly aware of the needs and feelings of others, despite what she says. I think she talks about sex to embarass Nick. He's a pretty calm bloke but she knows this will fluster him. Despite her job I don't think she's that interested in sex, it's just something that gives her power, and of course a tidy income.

I think your being too pedantic. A few on here have said she could be bi polar. I see nothing wrong in suggesting that.

I missed that. But I have heard her tell people that she talks like that to see him squirm and she does like making those sort of remarks to him. I don't think for a minute she means it, it's just become a running joke. I think that Nick is still at the stage of his development that anything over 30 seconds would be an achievement for him.
