Usually these companies keep very quiet about their plans so that their competitors don't get a heads-up, and TVPlayer are no different.
That said, these guys have been expanding their platform support recently, with an Apple TV app along with EE integration over the last couple of weeks alone. That said, this is generally a live streaming service, and usually these consider a smart television as a platform of last resort - the reason is that these devices generally have a killer competitor called the TV tuner. Still, it doesn't mean that they won't. The cheapest way to get TVPlayer on your LG TV is via the Amazon Fire TV Stick. That said, the app still doesn't have the "Plus" update yet, but that is likely to come soon. Perhaps with Xmas coming up, you could make a few hints with your friends and family

Can you use one sub and stream from more than one device, for example TV and Tablet at the same time?

Am waiting for it to be on android. They says both tv player and TV plus are going to be able to have chrome cast support. It's almost the new year. Yeah I can put the TV player app on android but I might as well wait for chrome cast support.
Thanks |

Why is tvplayeŕ and tvplayerplus not have chromecast support yet. I mean you can access it through the chromecast app but if you do that, it's not in widescreen. I want to watch lifestyle channel in widescreen.
Thanks. |

Well still no tv player app for the Samsung smart TV.
Thought this was meant to be released soon? This would be a really good addition to the it on to smart TVs as really then makes the service good value for money. |

Am still waiting for this service to have chromecast support. It looks like a very good service.
Can anyone explain why it's not come to chromecast. Thanks. Graham |

TV Player are planning a big expansion, and the missing ITV/C4/C5 spin-off channels are joining the free service
