Depriving them of the absolute basics would probably raise health and safety concerns. They are always given food and cold water, but choose to go hungry and smelly because they don't like chickpeas and cold showers. I dare say they still have detergent.

In BB3 the "poor side" had no access to toothbrushes or toothpaste for several days. Jade (as a dental nurse) complained bitterly to no avail.

They don't have a washing machine anyway.
My point was that sitting around in the same clothes with no access to water in which to wash yourself and your clothing is a health and safety issue (because your health may be affected) and the producers have a duty of care. Access to water actually falls under human rights, and whilst we don't know where the producers of BB draw the line I would image they provide detergent too.

We had a contestant once in Aus that washed his underwear by wearing them into the pool and spa. She could do that.
