Twitter on iOS & Android

Didn't know where to put this, but seeing as my 'issue' is via mobile phones, I've put it here.

Recently been using Samsung S6 and also have iPhone 6.

Twitter on iOS - follow about 17 people, get updates from them as you would expect, very occasionally get a third party advert, can usually click the little x and choose 'doesn't interest me' or 'advert not relevant.

Twitter on Android - follow the same 17 people and get updates from them however, EVERYTIME I refresh, I get about 9 or 10 pointless tweets from the likes of Manchester Evening News, Lad Bible (WTF?) Bieber, Madonna, Alan Sugar, etc etc etc... Pressing x on these just deletes the tweet, I dont get a 'not relevant' or ' doesn't interest me' option for these.

Refresh again and I'll get another bunch of random tweets from random people that I just dont follow or have no interest in following, Daily Star, The Sun, Wayne Rooney, Piers Morgan it just goes on and on and on every time I refresh and delete them I'll get some other equally crap tweets from people I dont follow.

I know Twitter said they will sneak the occasional advert in (like on iOS) but why am I getting all this crap with the android version? They are not adverts in my mind. I'm new to android, is there a setting somewhere I have missed?

Any official Twitter app is the pits.

iOS use Tweetbot

Problems solved.

To be fair, Twitter on iOS is quite good. I much prefer it over Tweetbot and any of the others i've tried, and i've tried them all.
