I'm not getting one just for the sake of getting an new one and you know me and how I ldon't go for any fancy hardware..
I'm only getting one because my HP Stream (more like flood) 'drowned' during the recent storms and I had it in my coat pocket (I didn't know it was going to rain on the night in question) so it no longer works (It would have been too late by the time I got home and there wasn't any dry rice in the house anyway).
Fortunatedly the SD card survived and I still know my Microsoft account password for it).

I've looked around and the cheapest Windows tablets for under a hundred quid that I can get from a bricks and cement shop are seventy quid each from Argos and the Toshiba one's had the best reviews.

Does look like a nice bit of kit.

So does the one made by Bush for Argos.
They both cost the same and have the same specs so the problem lies with WHICH ONE DO I GET, ARRRRRGGGGHHH!!!
I haven't been too impressed with the photo editing apps from Windows Store and Android have the best but If I have no other choice I'd use an Android one.
Still I could do a Total Recall/Rogue Trooper job as I can remember my account password, email address and still have the SD card.

I'd go for a Linx 8" motsy lad, similar to the HP Stream, an extra inch of screen too.
I've had a notification on my HP Stream 7" to get Windows 10 free of charge after 29th July. Great little tablet.

I did but there's a bit of a story behind it..
I made my way up to Argos in the Manchester Arndale Center with a first choice (Toshiba) and second choice (Bush) and both were out of stock. But then I remembered that Curry's sold them. Unfortunately none of the shops sell the HP Stream 7 anymore (Possibily just because it isn't a premier league player). Long story short... RESULT!! I got hold of an Acer Iconia, an option I wasn't considering so I didn''t look online fore reviews and videos buut it's got better specs than the ones I was considering.

Glad you got one!

How do you find it?

Both the ones from Argos I was conserving had poor specs, even by my standards and they were both out of stock anyway so I walked away from a potential dud.
I then remembered seeing them in Currys (Have you ever tried one telling their sales staff that you just want what you came in for and understanding it when they're trying to get you to spend more than you intended?). Anyway, I got the Acer Iconia Tab 8-w (Windows) and as it wasn't on my choices I didn't research online but it's got tatsier specs and an 8-inch screen.

My theory that I could still access my acconunf from the HP Stream 7 proved to
be correct.
