Hi guys, I am sure you all remember Andrea Faustini from X Factor last year.

He has a new album out in a week (17th July) called Kelly. It's had several reviews so far - all of them are positive. Apparently it is a mixture of blues and gospel sounds, with only the one 'diva ballad' - which is the I Didn't Know My Own Strength winner's single that he recorded for the X Factor final, but obviously didn't get to use. I think that Andrea is looking to drop that X Factor label, as it doesn't actually reflect the type of artist he is. If anyone wants to order the album, here are the links

When you order the album, you will get his first single, Give a Little Love, for free. The single is officially released tomorrow - Friday 10th July.

The lyrics video is quirky and cute - I am guessing that some people will like it, and some not. I think that the official video will be more formal as there were pictures of him filming it with a choir, as you'd expect with the gospel vibe of the song.

I think that a lot of people will be surprised at the sort of songs Andrea has chosen to sing. And he also co-wrote Give a Little Love with Camille Purcell, who has written Little Mix's Black Magic, out on the same day.

I just really hope that people will give Andrea a chance, a lot of us fought his corner during xfactor as we knew there was so much more to him than xfactor was portraying.. The album got to no. 14 in the UK album charts, which is cool It would have been no. 9 on sales, but streaming figures dragged it down. Not sure what I think about adding streaming figures to the UK album chart - can get it with singles, but most people will buy an album they like, surely?

Anyway, hoping that a second single from Kelly will be released very soon and we'll continue to see promo for this excellent album
