All very vague but all very exciting.

I guess the only thing we can take from that is it will certainly be a Branning, Beale or a Mitchell that is arrested which we probably knew already.

I was hoping this would be a Cora-centric week, but instead we get all this Mitchell-Beale-Branning nonsense.

And to top it off, Paul and his receding hairline are about and all.

I think Max will be arrested and go down for Lucy's murder.

Cora's big week is week 32.

According to Digiguide cast lists, Ian gets the Monday duff duff, Phil/Ben get the Tuesday duff duff, Abi/Sharon get the Thursday duff duff and Max gets the Friday duff duff.

I'm really looking forward to that week. More Mitchells/Beales = good news for me

Agreed. It's about time they were back at the forefront of the show.

Many will disagree, but I always prefer the show when it's primarily about the Mitchells or the Beales.

I concur with this statement. I do like the Carters but they need to take a backseat for a while. The Mitchells/Beales are all good/interesting characters and I hope they continue to dominate the show for a while. It's been long overdue. Roll on September

I wonder what Paul's bombshell is. Hopefully it has nothing to do with HIV because I really don't want to see that being tackled.

Yes it's better not seen or heard right? A HIV storyline for a gay man might be a bit cliché but shouldn't be avoided just because people may find it unsavoury viewing.

I doubt the writers will give him HIV. More likely more Ben nonsense.

I just don't think that they'll do it correctly so I'll rather they don't go there.

I have missed the Lucy story!

It looks like a fantastic week. Beales/Brannings/Mitchells- bring it on!

Cora's big week is week 32.
I think so too. It also explains Jane helping to find Cora.

DS Bryant will revel in arresting Max.

Any idea who the writers are this week?
Christopher Reason has written both Monday and Tuesday.

I thought Paul's bombshell would have something to do with Ben originally as the Mitchells seem to feature heavily this week, but maybe it's him telling Pam about Les and Claudette?

And of course Phil will come out on top.

Looking forward to all of this. Glad that EE isn't phoning in this summer. They've been putting out some really good stuff so far.

Might not mean that punches are exchanged though last year they said that Phil and Charlie would come to blows and i was expecting Phil to hit Charlie but nothing happened probably just a lot of shouting. I would like Phil and Max to have punch up though, though if they do Phil will surely come out on top it is EastEnders law that Phil wins unless it's against Vincent though i'm sure Phil will win eventually if they revisit the feud at some point.
