It's on at 8:30pm. Presumably to avoid a clash with the hour long Emmerdale on the other side

Oh thanks ... just thought I'd stepped into the twilight zone or if I'd got my days confused. No football, no national live news event....weird no Eastenders at this time.

Thanks

I'm still wondering why tonight they have avoided a clash when often they don't bother, perhaps something significant is happening tonight?

ITV's constant tinkering with their soaps (extending Emmerdale and whatever else) is beginning to get on my nerves. I'm not sure why we needed an extra Corrie tonight. Viewers could've waited until Friday for more Deirdre reactions, I'm sure they wouldn't have minded after Wednesday's disappointing offering.

Last Nights Corrie was hardly disappointing.

Actually a Critic on Victoria Derbyshire, said it was beautifully done.

The acting wasn't the best last night, but it was from the heart.

It's not Emmerdale they would've clashed with, it's Corrie. ITV and BBC have an agreement not to schedule EE and Corrie against each other, hence the time change for EE.

These things are subjective. I'm certainly not the only one who was underwhelmed by it.

Emmerdale was on from 7pm - 8pm which would have clashed with EE at 7:30pm. They've put an extra ep of Corrie on at 8pm.

Oh, you're right. I was thinking EE was meant to be on at 8.00. I forgot what day it was.
