People have been saying it's selfish, greedy and immoral to take the 5k if offered it but i don't see how it is. It's big brother's money at the moment and if they want to give it all to the winner or split it between the housemates that's up to them.

What's your opinion on this?

I think they should take it if offered.

The BB experience is what you go into this show for. The money is a bonus.

At this stage of the game I wouldn't blame anyone for taking the whole amount if they had the oportunity to do so, I would take it for sure.
The problem is that Chloe has been very vocal about friendship and how the money is not important and giving everyone especially Jack a hard time about using any of the prize fund for themselves calling them selfish and saying they are stealing it from the winner but then she takes 5k for herself. So Danny shouldn't say sorry, in fact I would love it if they all told her what a hypocritical cow she is and didn't let her forget it.

I have no problem with anybody taking the money in theory.

But if you have been taking the moral highground all week, accusing others of being selfish and greedy and saying that its the winners money only, don't take the money otherwise you look a massive hypocrite like Chloe.

Exactly.
Some are saying they took the money out of the prize fund, but it was never in the prize fund in the first place.

Didn't Chloe moan about someone spending £100 of the winners money?
and then be a hypocrite and take £5,000 of the winners money herself?

how come they allowed her back in?! once you leave you've left!

Chloe's argument "4 grand for football scores" "he never got them" "he would've done" wtf

Yes - every one of them is with at least that much of the prize fund at this stage. I don't see that it's stealing - after all we can virtually guarantee the eventual winner won't be much of a hero/heroine.

If the actually winner got £5-10k that would be enough - share the rest out.

I don't see it as stealing the winner's money. It's an opportunity for non-winners to get something which I believe they have fully earned. Nothing wrong with taking it & anybody who has a problem with it (cough, Danny, cough) clearly thinks they have won it & the money has been literally stolen from them.

Harry's comment was also harsh. M

It's £5k! It will clear their debts & give them a treat. The winner will still get 16 times that so they all need to get over themselves.

Agree with both of these.

I think it must have been heavily edited otherwise it didn't take long for Chloe to walk out. Sign of a very guilty conscious . The others are too young and inexperienced to say anything. Poor Jack he said he was glad for her. Would he be so glad if he knew how've she screwed him over.

Hasn't she also said all along that she is not there to win money, but for the experience.

I personally don't think it matters if it's part of the prize fund or going to be added to it. Same thing really.

And it doesn't belong to the winner, otherwise big brother wouldn't be able to give it away would they?

They let John James back in after his (at least once) foray into the fire exit.

I agree, take the money - no problem with that. Be honest about it though - I've defended Chloe all week though but have to say her hypocrisy is appalling ... the saddest part being she doesn't see it at all!

Exactly if she hadn't had so much to say to others about the money I would say good on you but poor Jack didn't get the lickings of a dog over the football score money and he didn't even do it in the end but she still brings it up every time HE DIDNT DO IT CHLOE.but well done on the pity me act will probably save her.GRRR.

It technically was, but Chloe's yapping meant the prize fund was reduced dramatically freeing up the cash so Big Brother could offer tasks like this.

Chloe was complaining yesterday that Jack & Sam spent £100 on a suitcase.

If you were offered £5,000 you'd say yes, in ANY situation. Of course you would. You'd be stupid not to take it.

You are clearly missing the point about the nasty vindictive way that Chloe has bullied the others when they spent a miserable £100 pounds never mind 5k. She is so self unaware it's incredible. Anyone who doesn't think she's a hypocrite is Very Young and naive like HMts.

I agree with this, I think this is what the fuss is about, not the taking of the money, but her berating others for using the prize fund.......if you take the high moral ground, then be sure to carry it through.

It's not very tactful to take 5 grand, when it could ruin your chances of winning the lot.
I also think it's better that the winner gets the prize fund.
This task is designed to bring out greed and weakness and it has worked here.
