Bohemian Rhapsody - I don't hate it to be fair but I've never really got it either. Same of Queen generally, their songs are original but I've never really wanted to buy one of their albums.

Also:
Stairway To Heaven
White Christmas

And Let's Stay Together is top of my list of most godawful covers of all time. It's hideous

Never got the over the top love for Back For Good by Take That.Sung in a whiney voice, bland beyond belief, just don't get it.
Also in doubt due to a heavy night before, when they done that song at Wembley, closed my eyes as thought there was nothing to see here and nodded off for 10 mins or so

Agreed, anyway, too many suspended chords in that tune.

A candidate must be Diana Ross's version of this classic. 3M hits on YouTube

This the original 38M hits.

Errmm Mustang Sally wasn't rock, it was soul (Wilson Pickett). Surprising error from someone with your knowledge of music.

Another vote for American Pie, a load of pretentious twaddle.

And my all time hate - Wind Beneath my Wings. Sickeningly patronising lyrics - if any bloke sang that to me he'd get a knuckle sandwich

Jesus. What a ****ing atrocity. I had mercifully forgotten this piece of shite for two decades. IT'S GOT TO BEE-EEE-EEE-EEE-EEE PER-FECT...Little Miss Parasol prancing around the gondola with her wimp-shit bandmates. Too bad the boat didn't hit a mine. I'd like to wallop her right on the pointy chin with a ****ing coal shovel. Most obnoxious song ever. ”

Actually thinking about it, she sounds kind of arrogant "Too many peee-ople take second bee-yesst, but I won't take enn-ything le-yesss" - well **** you
I quite like the song though

I too cannot STAND this daadeeedeedoodooddooodacrap, When you think of the Eurythmics entire catalogue this is by far the worst song - but inexplicably their most successful? Baffling.

Wonderful track!

How could someone not have heard of it and how could someone else say it's rubbish?

On the other hand, it's very conceited of me to expect all others to have the same musical knowledge and taste as myself!

The song is 48 years old, so it predates you, but it is considered a bit of a rock classic.

When we find someone who admits to liking The Lady in Red, perhaps we can count that as a classic?

He was a great singer.

This is my favourite, he wasn't a well man, his exhaustion before he starts this live performance, was symptomatic of his heart problems which eventually contributed to his death.
