I can see a lot of comparison between the two although Josie was far more favoured by the producers (remember the clip that was used as the trailer virtually the entire series?) and editing. Also as bad as Chloe has been I definitely think Josie was worse.

One similarity that probably annoys me more than their behaviour is the way that BOTS etc. buy the BS so much. When Josie won there were several people saying she was the best winner ever! Now we have nothing but "lovely girl" "nice normal girl next door" about Chloe.

Chloe has been given the most favourable edit by the producers, IMO.
They never outed her "hilarious" story about the taxi driver like the did with Alex and her stealing from the blind woman story. But then with Alex her odds were never long so no way to make a lot from betting. Just like with Danny, he never had very long odds so no point in editing him to win.

With Josie we did have LF so those who watched that knew who she was really.

It just seems to me that betting is the problem, if there was no way to "make a bundle" on betting I don't think the editing would be so pointed.

Generally speaking I think BB fans are the opposite of fickle.
When a housemate has a fanbase most of those fans will be blindly devoted and unmoveable. For them to change their mind will be very difficult indeed.

What tends to happen in general is that people make their minds up early and stick to it no matter what.
It would be quite a refreshing change if people were more fickle with this show, but they're not.

You're right. It's nothing short of pure propaganda.
If they keep waving banners with slogans on them like 'normal girl' and 'lovely girl', people just believe it.
We like to think that we function in a rational way and are immune to that sort of thing, but we're more likely to be led by simple base emotions which can be overridden and affected by any old nonsense.

If people want to believe in this archetype of Chloe which BB have continually perpetuated, then they will. It doesn't matter what you say because their belief is much stronger than any points you can come up with which suggest otherwise.

Me too. As soon as she was the first one to walk down those stairs. I knew that I shouldn't trust her as soon as I saw her.
She had those affectations about her which I knew viewers would buy into, but to me looked to be exaggerated.

That route didn't hurt Josie because she now looks bloody amazing looking at recent pics and her appearance on BOTS. And she looks a lot healthier for it too. If Chloe wants to go down that path good luck to her.

She may look healthier body-wise, but she also looks about 10 years older than her age (facially). Sure, well done to her for keeping with her fitness and now making a living at is (I gather she's a trainer of some kind?), but the injected lips are unflattering and having a boob job pre-30 seem rather extreme ways to get the 'perfect' body.

What I've loved about chloe is she represents winners we've had in the past. The non fame hungry types. Don't think she'll say no to an odd tv appearance, but I think she needs to get back to human life as if it were. I think she is cool.

A crowded market, but who's to say she couldn't do it? Of course, she'll need to put on a couple of stone and book out the pink bikini for those vital OMG beach flab photos first.
Then it's down to Donny Park with a personal trainer and willing pap to start the transformation campaign.
