I asked this question last week on the Vodafone forum, but got no reply - perhaps DS readers can help me.

I have my phone set to divert to my home phone if I'm off the grid for some reason. If somebody from Vodafone Family calls me and the call is diverted to my home number, will they be charged for the call? (it would normally be free) or do I pay for it?

They would pay the cost (or have it free if applicable) to the first number (the one they have dialled). You would pay for a call (or have it deducted from allowance if Vodafone include diverted calls) from your mobile to your home phone.

As my barge pole isn't long enough I have no (recent) personal experience of Vodafone, but on EE and 3 the diverted portion of the call is taken from allowance.
