Hard drive not working

Hi all. My Humax freesat + hdr 1010s is saying there is no recordings when I know very well there is. I have done factory resets, pulled the plug as advised by freesat, but still nothing. Was told by freesat to revert back to previous software, but still nothing. When I go into the settings and go to storage, it just says I need to connect a storage device. Does anyone have any ideas how this issue could be resolved?

My suggestion would be to place in standby and then turn off for 15 mins, repeat at least three times. If under warranty then back to dealer.

Thanks for that. Will give it a go. Will be contacting the dealer tomorrow as its under an extended warrenty.

My HER has also just started doing this. I left it unplugged overnight and no improvement. Now going to leave powered overnight to see if it recovers as reported in another thread.
