Slower internet than ever before
I switched to Infinity after 2 years of BT trying to sell me it. Worst decision ever.
Was better off on Total Broadband. I Player does nothing but buffer every 2 seconds. Pages time out etc. I was told at the time of installation that due to my building being old and the old phone wires, it wouldnt' be top of the range but the service I was getting on Total Broadband was much superior. Have tried calling BT and I get nothing but excuses and I just get told that it works fine. Of course, pages I can cope with but buffering catch up TV is infuriatingly annoying. |

How are you connected to the home hub? If wireless or homeplugs, have you tried using a wired connection with a cable straight into the hub?

Also is the router plugged directly into the master socket. and filters on every other working phone point.
BT are now installing new filters which sit on top of the master socket. These filters mean your extension wiring all goes through one filter. They look like this, http://www.amazon.co.uk/GENUINE-BT-O.../dp/B00NMUXPOS Yes they are a bit expensive on Amazon but if you shop around you may find one cheaper. They are called VDSL Filter and I Plate. |
