Those two need to bury the hatchet. Both their behaviour on Twitter is inappropriate.

I still don't understand what school would let Helen in to speak - surely schools would not want their students to emulate HW in any way?

And that could very easily be aimed at Helen too.

I doubt the Governors are even aware of what some teacher/headteacher thinks is a smart move.

I imagine if they were made aware of Helen's trolling activities a number might take a dim view of having her anywhere near their school.

Indeed, and there is some benefit in a reformed (and remorseful) former cyber-bully addressing kids on the issues. It does however seem particularly woolly-headed thinking to have as your guest speaker someone who persistently abuses others on social media and relishes 'Twitter fights' and trolling as her 'raison d' être'

As for Aisleyne, clearly she ought to be addressing her evidently quite serious drinking problem if she's engaging in this sort of stupid and childish behaviour whilst inebriated.

Aisleyne seems to have become less mature as the years have gone on.

I can't believe she is a 37 year old.

Aisleyne is so thick. She is a bit of a washed up has-been now who drinks too much.

Right, don't believe everything you read in the Torygraph. IQ has been descending for at least the last two decades. The problem as already stated is poor teaching and parenting. Every child is born with a certain potential - yes I know we all have our different capacities - if not tapped at the right point in their development it affects overall abilities. It is a known and well recorded fact for example that children who can read and write before starting school will fare better.

Very long and complicated subject but that is it in a nutshell.

You have defended Helen who actually is appalling.?”

Do you have an actual point? Or is this just another example of you pointlessly sounding off in an effort to appear "relevant"... *rolleyes*

Helen shouldn't be let anywhere near a school, unless it's to talk about why her own trolling is bad i.e. why she called Chris what she did.

I don't believe it because it was in the Telegraph. It was just an easily found article that described the phenomenon. However, the Telegraph is more reliable than unsubstantiated claims in a forum like this one.

You've just made a bunch of assertions, with no evidence. And if IQ has been descending for two decades, and it could be made to seem the fault of poor teaching and parenting, it would be more likely for the Telegraph to have articles claiming that.

Well you believe what you like, and by the way the only mention of anything that supports your assertion is the Daily Fail. Another unreliable right wing rag.

This might interest you though.

That's just trying to spin the irrelevance that I happened to link a Telegraph article.

And then you link "right wing rags" to try to support your claims, even though neither of them take your "poor teaching and parenting" line.

The Telegraph article you picked even says "children aged between five and 10 saw their IQs increase by up to half a point a year over the three decades" and says:

"Up until the age of nine and ten, the home has a really powerful influence, so we can assume parents have been providing their children with a more cognitive challenging environment in the past 30 years."

It speculates about why there's been an IQ fall among teenagers (according to the one study the article relies on), but it's just speculation. It doesn't even suggest that it's down to poor teaching and parenting.

So how were people phoning up to abuse Helen?
Surely they'd think they were phoning up to abuse Aisleyne?? ”

There are a number of strange things about this story, and that is one of them.

* The tweet doesn't read like she's giving out Helen's number.

* Why would Aisleyne have Helen's number in the first place?

* In the article, Helen claims she's "had access to (Aisleyne's) address and number for weeks" and says they were emailed to her. What's going on there?

* In the article, Helen doesn't quite say she gave her first talk in a school because of what Aisleyne (allegedly) did and the calls Helen then (allegedly) received, but she does seem to be trying to connect them, since she says Aisleyne (and Nikki) have "thrown me in the direction I wanted to be in", and:

But isn't Aisleyne's tweet too recent for it have any such connection?

Helen seems to be a pathological liar, whos ego is being boosted by people at the daily star. She's not clever, so she's getting picked up on all the mistakes shes making.

It's sad that these days the media choose to boost up anyone who has mental issues, i.e. low empathy to others, so they end up spewing out hate and lies, then trying to fake guilt that they are sorry. People like that are never sorry. People need to wise up about this. It's becoming so obvious what they are about.

The fact Helen is STILL talking about Aisleyne says it all.

I'm not saying Aisleyne is a saint either. But there is a difference between someone being an idiot or messing around, to someone who has a mental issue.
